Marvin Gay, Stevie Wonder, Temptations Smokie Robinson. We cover a wide selection of Classic Rock... from CCR to Tom Petty to ZZ Top to Hall and Oats to Bill Withers to Neil Diamond. The Dancing Melodies were the highlight of our wedding reception! They're a talented group of musicians who obviously love what they do. Prior to the event, Richard and the band were very accommodating with our requests. They learned several new songs for us, and created exactly the upbeat, funky vibe we were hoping for. The dance floor was never empty! Lacy's voice is phenomenal. Rusty also did a great job as emcee throughout the event.
I co-hosted a party called 'WET-n-WILD' back in July of this year,..this band had our guest on the dance floor 100% of the time,..Suzanne's voice is AMAZING the BAND is ON FIRE,..and we even got a DRUM SOLO,...and more,..your money is well spent here,...PEACE
OMG, if you want to dance ALL night and impress your friends, this is the band to do it with. I stumbled upon them when another band cancelled at the last minute. It was the best thing to ever happen. I had 50 friends over and the dance floor was packed. song after song. My friends are still raving about them as late as this weekend. The group was great with the people and the range of their music was incredible. This is the band to get if you want your party to ROCK.We'll see each other again next year!

We are variety band, which would include... Dinner music (smooth jazz, Standards, easy listening). "Dance" music... MoTown, Rhythm and blues, Classic Rock (you name it), some Modern Country and Modern Pop.
The Mellow-D's is a unique blend of old and new styles. The band started out as easy an l listening swing/standards outfit then later added blues and a wide variety of music from Ray Charles,Sam Cook, to Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys.WE have recently added and recorded Motown, 70's 80's and some 90's dance music to compliment our sets. We found ourselves being asked to play at weddings an numerous events from top 40 dance to blues and so we had to customize our sets to accommodate the event we were entertaining. Eventually we had to learn many styles of music to broaden our horizons.
The band has up to six pieces depending on the venue. Any one evening there could be Guitar,bass, Sax,drums and piano fronted by Suzanne Smith and Don Austin two of the most talented singers in Nort
