Whether it's 30 minutes or 1.5 hours, I lead your guests or attendees in follow-along dance. They do not need pre-arranged partners. They actually don't need partners at all. Guests and attendees also do not need to memorize any choreography. The session runs as if they were in a group fitness class at the gym or dance class at a dance studio. I lead the movements. They follow along. I provide movement modifications if I see that some people need adjustments.

Valerie facilitates the Rock Your Body Image Danceshop™ in Hollywood, CA, where she guides her participants in cultivating a body image where they act on the truth that their body is their ally, not their enemy, in unlocking and actualizing their dream lives.
Valerie is also a Licensed ZUMBA® and Group Power Instructor, Adjunct Faculty in Sports & Wellness at Mount Saint Mary’s University, Dance Teaching Artist with artworxLA, Dance Instructing Artist at Gabriella Charter School, Certified OneTaste Coach, Certified OM Trainer, and Certified Dream Coach®. Valerie’s dance background is in Salsa, House, Samba, Hip Hop, and numerous dances of the African Diaspora. She has participated in CONTRA-TIEMPO Urban Latin Dance Theater’s Futuro Dance Intensive, served as Executive Board Member of African Rhythms Drum and Dance Troupe, and served as a judge for the NAACP ACT-SO Competition in the dance category. Valerie lives in Los Angeles, loves cookie-dough ice cream, New York pizza, and her fierce and feminine feline Kali.
All necessary music is on my iPad and iPod. In the event you don't have sound equipment, I have a 4ft auxiliary cord and surround sound portable speaker. If your event is held at a large venue, e.g. a hotel ballroom, and have already pre-arranged a DJ or A/V technician, I will just hand my music device over to that person to connect to their sound system.
