We hired Karl to play for a surprise 70th birthday party and he knocked it out of the park! We couldn't have an entire band due to space limitations at the venue, and Karl did not disappoint. He arrived early to set up his equipment, was very professional and is also just a really nice guy. We had guests of all ages and everyone (even the kids!) loved the music. His talent was evident in his guitar playing and singing and you could tell that he really loves what he does. We were able to book him at the last minute and had excellent communication back and forth to work out the details. Highly recommend - you won't be disappointed!

Karl Stoll is available as a solo singer/guitarist or with his full band, The Danger Zone ... and, any variation in between .... a duo, trio or four-piece.
For a smooth show, Karl likes to coordinate details in advance. We are punctual, polite, and professional.
A typical show will cover a wide range of rockin' blues songs that motivate a crowd to dance and have fun. (We have become popular with swing dance clubs.) The volume will be loud enough to make an impact, but not deafening. We are always happy to accommodate within reason.
Karl and the band travel with a small/medium sound system, backline and all instruments. Medium to large events should provide an appropriate sound system and lighting.
Karl Stoll and the Danger Zone is an award winning, butt-rockin', electrifyin', houserockin’ roots rock & blues band based in Washington, DC. The Danger Zone's second album, The Workhouse, was nominated for three Wammie awards in 2022, and was selected by DC Blues Society as Best Self-Produced CD for 2022. The title track received Honorable Mention by the Songwriter's Association of Washington.
