Amazing musicians and they know how to put on a great party! I am so glad we found the Dap Squad and were able to have them at our wedding. Memories for a lifetime. Our guests are still talking about them 8 months later. Jason is great to work with for planning and coordinating ahead of time. I just keep trying to think of another event I can host so I can book them again!

The Dap Squad played our wedding and was the highlight of our event. Everything from their professionalism to the quality of their musicianship to the fun they brought to the event was TOP NOTCH!

The Dap Squad played at our wedding in Sept 2021 at the Van Dusen and they MADE the party! We were getting messages for days to come about how attendees stayed longer at our reception than they ever had before because of how fun the band made it (for dancers or observers).

I love this band!! I’ve been attending a lot of weddings this summer/early fall and Dap Squad definitely stands out as the BEST. They are such a fun, outgoing, and energizing band that really knows how to get wedding guests on the dance floor! In fact, the dancefloor was full for the entire wedding. Even guests that do not dance were on the dance floor having a ball. They are truly wonderful entertainers and made it an amazing night to remember.

Dap Squad is completely professional and provides high level entertainment. Jason Weismann is an exceptional vendor. He makes your experience a first class event and he treats you with nothing but courtesy, honesty and respect. He is an expert musician and manager. This band has it all. Quality, expertise, experience and can provide ANY particular style you may be dreaming of. This was my easiest and BEST vendor to work with over the course of Covid cancellations, changes and adaptability to our different wants and needs and musical goals. No one else gave me the same confidence and dependability. The music is outstanding and they are known for a higher level of sound and service. I will tell everyone I know to use them. They are worth every precious penny we spent. Every guest at our wedding is still talking about Dap Squad! They were exceptional in every way. They made our wedding nothing but nonstop fun and the band members were fantastic, personable entertainers. We felt like we were all friends when it was over.

My (now) husband and I hired the Dap Squad for our 2020 wedding in 2019, covid hit, we had to postpone a year, and THANKFULLY they were able to make our new date work. Once our 2021 wedding finally rolled around we were ready to party with our loved ones with the main goal being having amazing music that would keep everyone on the dance floor and the Dap Squad delivered! We were behind schedule, which for a wedding is pretty common, but the band handled it like a pro, they picked the best songs to play, got the crowd engaged and kept their attention until the very end. The energy was unlike anything I have ever experienced and we received so many compliments about how amazing the band was. This isn't your typical "wedding band", these are amazing musicians who truly enjoy what they're doing and ooze energy and fun to the crowd in the most contagious way. The band was epic and they made our postponed celebration a night that we will never forget, if only we could find an excuse to hire them for every life moment.

My husband and I hired 7 members of the Dap Squad to do our wedding reception in the middle of nowhere Iowa on a family farm. We are live music super fans and have pretty high standards when it comes to bands. The Dap Squad exceeded all our expectations!!! They kept the crowd dancing, smiling and laughing all night long. We had even mentioned that we are jam band fans and encouraged them to jam out during songs if they wanted. They jammed during nearly every song just for us. I had guests asking me all night long how I found this band and telling me how amazing they are. My family and friends are still talking to me days later about this band. The Dap Squad really blew our minds! We are professional classical musicians ourselves and we had a lot of musician friends at our wedding so naturally there was a bit of pressure for good music for the night. The Dap Squad exceeded all our expectations. We found some recordings on their website but they don’t do justice to what it is when they play live. The instrumentalists sounded amazing and the lead singer was just incredible. They played all the songs we asked for and after that they played everything from old classics all the way to contemporary stuff. All our guests had a great time and we all danced for 4 hours. Guests would come up to us the whole night to tell us that these guys were great. It was very easy to communicate and plan and everything went according to the plan - extremely professional. Also incredibly nice people.

We had 12 members of The Dap Squad play for us for four hours and they all did an amazing job!!! The guests were blown away by how talented every member of the band was. When I run into people who were there that night they always talk about the band and how much they enjoyed them. We had a huge summer festival in our town the week before with three big-name bands over three nights and people keep telling me that The Dap Squad blew all three of the bands away. I'm trying to think of another good reason to have them play for us again. If you are undecided I wouldn't hesitate to hire them, you will be glad you did it.

What a talented and entertaining band! The Jazztronauts played at my sisters wedding and were the icing on the cake! It felt like they were celebrating with us.They were funny, professional, and talented musicians. Thanks for taking requests on the spot.

When we found the Dap Squad we were blown away. The other bands just felt like wallpaper or like they were going through the motions, but the Dap Squad are THE REAL DEAL. The guys interact like a real band should, the solos were killing and the music was inspired! Man I wish we had a reason to hire them again. The fellas wanted to pool our money together and keep them playing the our venue wouldn't let us... THANK YOU GUYS!!!!

Besides actually getting married to my husband, the Dap Squad was the highlight of my wedding! They got the party started and kept it going all night long. Each member of the band is an impeccable talent, and Jason (band manager) is extremely easy to work with! Our guests had an amazing time and so did we. Even people who don't like to dance were on their feet, and when people weren't dancing they were still enjoying the performance. I would highly recommend this band to anyone who wants to have an awesome wedding.

The band beat any expectation we had. They were so good that the wedding party pooled money to beg them to keep playing. The leader was responsible, easy to work with and fun and the band (and I mean this seriously) performed some of our favorite songs with more heart and probably better than the album. We laughed and said I wish we could do this night all over so I could just Jam with the band. Who knows anniversary party right? GET THE DAP SQUAD.. It'll be the best decision you've ever made!!

I can’t say enough good about The Dap Squad!! If you can get them, reserve them early!! We went to see a competitor and every time we went, the members were completely different? Jason was a breeze to work with and handled everything. Get these guys, you’ll be glad you did!!

We looked at EVERY WEDDING BAND IN THE TWIN CITIES. Trust me, these guys are by far the best. They were easy to work with, fun, prepared, and they blew everyone away!! We just can't say enough about these guys. Stop looking, you've found the band you need.. and it's the DAP SQUAD!!

Wow, the Dap Squad is amazing!!! I am terrible about following up on anything, I have a million excuses but I am making a point of sharing our experience because these guys made a regular wedding an event to remember. Jason made the experience easy and fun. He was attentive, thoughtful and mindful. The band was explosive from the first note to the last and kept blowing our mind all night. I sat back and laughed as the groomsmen all stood in amazement studying the guitarist as they drooled. These guys are world class musicians that honestly shouldn't be playing weddings, they should be on a national tour or something, but boy are we lucky they are available.
Look, grab your cake, your venue, your flowers, bla bla.. Most services do the same thing and you're shopping for price right.... but the band is WORTH your time and money to get right. We checked out quite a few bands and were with our best friends when they made a mistake with his wedding band. We went and saw a showcase for a different band and watched as completely different musicians showed up to his wedding. We watched as their band literally shook hands on stage as they introduced each other before phoning in the rest of their night.... what a mistake....

Best wedding vendor choice we made. Thousands of dollars spent and we could have done the wedding in my garage and with this band it would have been an amazing wedding!!! HIRE THIS BAND it will be the best decision you make.. I promise!!
