Who is Daryl Jones?
Daryl Jones is the CEO of DJ Enterprises. The company’s mission is to Entertain, Empower, and Equip others to live purposeful effective lives. He is also founder of B2L Sports which specializes in maximizing sports performance by transforming potential into power.
Daryl is a highly sought after public speaker, author, entrepreneur, and thought leader.
Daryl was born in Royal Oak, Michigan. At the age of 3 his family moved from Michigan to Sugar Land, Texas. Being raised along with his sister in a single-parent household, watching his mother work multiple jobs, he was exposed to characteristics such as hard work and persistence. At the age of 3 he began to display his interests in sports as he was seen walking down the driveway with nothing but his underwear and a big red baseball bat. At the age of 6 his desire to play baseball and his athletic ability began to connect as he began his climb as an elite all-around athlete. By age 16 as a junior in high school, Daryl had emerged as one of the nation’s top athlete’s racking up 31 D-1 football scholarships while simultaneously making his mark as a potential MLB draft prospect.
In June of 2005, Daryl was selected in by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 3rd Round for a signing bonus that totaled over $500,000. After a rough start to his pro baseball career, in 2008 Daryl put together his best season which earned him the honor of the organization’s Player Of The Year. One year later he was placed on the St. Louis Cardinals MLB roster. Unfortunately, his battle with unwanted injuries short-circuited his career forcing him to retire at the young age of 25.
DARYL’S NEW CAREER PATH
Having to fight the daily thoughts of what could have been a promising career, Daryl was forced to find a new career path. So he decided to take on the role of a coach in youth sports. Coaching sports and working with the youth helped bring clarity to Daryl’s true passion and purpose which involved motivating and inspiring young athletes. So he published his first book “God Cares About Sports. He later started one of his businesses B2L Sports, that specializes in maximizing sports performance by transforming potential into power.
Daryl’s Personal Mission
Daryl’s ultimate goal is to use his gifts, talents, and abilities to help others accomplish their life’s purpose by discovering the true source of their value and making this world a better place.

My career as a pro athlete. Has has the greatest influence on my life. Due to my father leaving me at 5 years old I battled a great deal of insecurity and fear of rejection. Sports became my big escape. As a pro baseball player it talk me how to live a discipline lifestyle which involved creating routines, setting goals, making adjustments on the fly, strategic planning etc. However, the demand for results can deceive you into chasing after results alone and winning the approval of others. It was then I realized that we way I played sports was the way I played in my life. Because my mindset came with me everywhere I go. So I was forced to start dealing with the unseen areas that I covered up for years because my performance had begun to be affected by it. That was when I had to learn and believe that I had value whether I performed well or not. So that is a huge reason for why I enjoy helping others seek and find the value in themselves, not only because it brings a freedom with it, but how it can greatly impact your performance in a positive way.
