Power Pop For Baby Boomers - The Best of The 60s and The Summers Of Love
This Brampton, Ontario-based trio features the powerful tenor voice of vocalist / bassist David Love, an 18-year veteran of The Carpet Frogs, 14-year former member of The Burton Cummings Band, and current member of the internationally-renowned Classic Albums Live.
The band specializes in the super-melodic pop and rock from the Summers of Love of the Baby Boom Generation.
The David Love Band continues to play festivals, special events, clubs, casinos, weddings, private parties and corporate shows across Ontario and the northeast United States.

How much do you charge?
We charge a fee that is commensurate with our experience and one that is competitive with other bands and other forms of live entertainment in our market area.
Factors that influence the fee that we charge include:
the distance from Brampton that we have to travel,
the type of event,
the number of people attending,
the venue,
the amount of time we have to spend on the engagement,
the time of year,
the day of the week,
whether or not we have to bring any or additional equipment.

How do I book The David Love Band?
We'll send you a signed contract - you send us a 50% deposit - we send you a receipt - and your date is guaranteed. It's that simple.
How do I pay?
Either by cash, cheque, or online bank transfer - whichever is convenient for you.
Do you bring your own sound and lights?
Yes. We own a complete, state of the art sound and lighting system. You never have to rent anything.
What are your standard performance times?
Generally from 8 pm to midnight. However, we can start and finish anytime you need us to.
How many sets do you do?
We can do one set of 45 to 90 minutes, two sets of 60 minutes each, 3 sets of 40 minutes, 4 sets of 30 minutes - whatever you want.
How much space do you need?
A space of 20 feet / 6m by 10 feet / 3m minimum. A stage is always preferable. If the event is outdoors, the stage must be covered.
How long does it take for you to set up?
It usually takes about 90 minutes to set up but we like to allow 2 hours to be safe.
How long are your breaks and do you provide background music?
Our breaks are usually 20 - 40 minutes depending on the number of sets you need and the length of your event. We provide appropriate background music through our sound system.
Can you perform a specific song for our event?
Yes we can. If it's a song that's in our genre of music, we'd be happy to learn it and play it for you.
Do you play any blues, metal, rap, techno, hip hop, house music, reggae, country, the Macarena, the Chicken Dance, Newfie music, The Tragically Hip, Stone Temple Pilots, Beyonce, or Pharrell?
No. We only play the Best of The Sixties and the Summers of Love. You'll love it. Go to our Home page to see our demo reel.
