Instrumental boogies, shuffles, rumbas, stomps, second line grooves to serve as the soundtrack for a hip, old-school flavored party or get-together of any kind. Perfect for background music, but low-down dancing is sometimes unavoidable!

Emerging into the light of day from their respective east bay basements, the Deep Basement Shakers have stumbled upon an ancient alchemical formula involving a beat-up piano, discarded soup cans from impulsively consumed emergency earthquake kits, and the sweetest sounding wooden napkin holder you'll ever hear. Featuring local traditional American music specialist Aaron Hammerman on piano, and Bay Area percussion legend Dave Eagle (the Right Time, Rusty Zinn, Zamico) on washboard, spoons, hand drum, suitcase, train whistle, and animal calls.

If you have an acoustic piano, great! It doesn't have to pretty - just playable. Upright, spinet - whatever you've got. We'll give it a workout! Otherwise - not to worry - we can bring a digital piano.
