I cannot say enough good things about this group. Communication prior to the event was easy. Watching the entire process unfold from unloading the 1500 gallon tank off of a trailer to mermaids swimming in full makeup, costume and staying in character all night! They were the perfect focal point to my “Let’s Get Nauti” adults only charity event. They interacted will guests alI night long and posed for so many pictures. Book them today….they will not disappoint!

My daughter had her 6th birthday and we had mermaid Rei and Shelby at our party. To start, there was excellent and prompt communication on quoting. Next, our mermaid reached out to us to get details about our special girl and asked if we had any questions. I loved that we were able to message each other for any questions or concerns. Now party time. They showed up early to set up and were ready at the start of the party. They made my daughter feel so special, going over details that we had talked about in previous conversations. They played, talked, and told stories with the kids. Everyone had an absolute blast!! I would 100% recommend to anyone!! Thank you both again for making my daughter's birthday really special and one she wont ever forget!!

My daughter's mermaid birthday will go down as one of the best birthday parties! The mermaid appearance and interaction was awesome and all of the kids (and parents) thoroughly enjoyed the surprise! I highly recommend this at your next party!!

While my daughter is 10 years old and has loved mermaids since she was a little girl. We had Deep Sea Cypress come and swim with my daughter as her birthday present. It was just an amazing experience she will remember forever. We will have her back in the future for lessons too!

Mermaid Cyprus was incredible! My mermaid obsessed 5 year old was amazed and had the best day ever until we couldn’t call mermaid Cyprus on her shell phone once she went back to the ocean 😂 She was great at getting the kids warmed up to her and getting them swimming around with her in the cold pool. She helped sing happy birthday, read the kids a mermaid book and opened presents! She was also super helpful and attentive with helping all the kids makes sand art and even gave them glitter tattoos. She was on time, great with communicating and overall absolutely amazing to work with! Would absolutely hire again and will be getting all of my mermaid recommendations!

Deep Sea Cyprus was a big hit! They played games with the kids, swam around the pool on a not-so-warm day, and read a mermaid-themed conservation book for guests! Everyone had huge smiles on their faces and loved being entertained by Cyprus.

What to Expect
Mermaid able to perform both on land and in water. Will interact with kids, read books, play games, and attend cooperate events.
We also are happy to offer our tank services. Nautilus is a 9ftx4ftx10ft tank that holds 1500 gallons of water. It has very specific set up requirements so inquiries are welcome!
About
The lead for the Appalachian Mermaid Society, Cyprus is a mermaid excited to meet many different humans. When they’re not swimming around in the deep sea, Cyprus is a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Departments. Working with a variety of different populations of a variety of different acuities. Cyprus is looking forward to testing their fins in these new mermaid waters and meeting new mermaid lovers and pirates a like.
All mermaids within the Appalachian Mermaid Society are PADI certified and insured.
Cyprus is PADI Mermaid Certified, ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENCP, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI certified. They are insured thru Specialty Performer Insurance and DAN.

Setup Requirements
To utilize the tank we need electricity, flat ground, and access to 1.5k gallons of water.
