The harp has always been a fundamental element of Marti Moreland’s life. As a small child, she grew up listening and twirling to the soothing sounds of her mother practicing. She started playing herself around the age of ten, and the harp quickly led her on a whirlwind adventure through the world of music.

Marti is very active in her local musical community, subbing with local orchestras and gigging around the South Florida area. Marti is passionate about making the harp more accessible and loves to work with other instrumentalists, composers, and students of all ages. She loves to work closely with clients, making sure that the soundscape for their event is exactly what they dreamed of.

Marti received her undergraduate degree in Performance from the University of North Texas in 2020 with a minor in Social Science and a certificate in Jewish and Israel Studies, and went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Performance at the University of Miami under the tutelage of Dr. Laura Sherman in 2022.

In her free time, Marti is an avid reader, loves to garden, bake and spend time with her fiancé, their son, and their two dogs.

It is very important for the harp the be out of direct sunlight, and to not have to go up stairs.
