THE FAMILIAR STRANGERS/Trio/Quartet or FULL BAND!
The Familiar Strangers work as an acoustic-oriented 3-4 piece band for smaller events (wine tastings, pool parties, etc) or as a full 5/6 piece group for larger venues or shows that emphasize party, dance music. With the addition of electric guitars, pedal steel guitar and –yeah- drums, this band can swing and rock with the best of them.
The Familiar Strangers play an Americana grab bag of roots music from western swing to classic country, blues, rock, swing jazz and even a little bit of gypsy jazz!
This band generates a big response from audiences with their friendly banter and responsiveness to requests from audience members.

The Rhythm Rangers is a group comprised of seasoned bay area musical veterans who have performed in many bands over the years. Originally formed in 2008 as a western swing & country-rock group, the band has transformed from it's earlier days. Todays Rhythm Rangers has broadened it's musical palette to include straight-ahead rock & roll, solid urban blues and Americana music!
Their first CD, "Not Out of the Woods Yet", was released in July 2008 & was nominated for a Grammy in 2008.
We are able to provide a PA for events. Occasionally we bring along our sound engineer to help make the most perfect musical experience possible for our clients.
