The Fender Benders are a versatile Rock Band that can play Soul, Early Rock, Blues, 70's 80's and Current Selections. We are known for keeping the party going (the crowd up and dancing to the last song). We have Five Performers. With the core Band we are able to cover most Gigs Extremely Well and have the ability to add Performers as needed. THE BAND - Peter Kahn - Dave Schroeder - David Dunbar - Tom McAllister - Richie Mitchell. This Group of Professional Musicians have unique and versatile backgrounds, All have have performed with famous musicians.

This was an amazing band to work with for my daughter's wedding. From the first online contact Richie was a dream to work with. He worked with his band and made a special effort to learn new songs for the Bride and Groom's First Dance and the Father and Daughter dance as well. They drove a good ways to provide top-notch music, set up an amazing light system, took requests from all of our family and friends and worked hard all night to provide a memorable experience. I highly recommend The Fender Benders for any type of event. My daughter's wedding will always be thought of as the Wedding with the Great Band. Thank you Richie, David, Pete, David and Ned.

We will keep the Party Rockin' ALL Night.
The Original Fender Benders started out Rockin' Washington DC Six Nights a Week throughout Georgetown, 14th Street, & Wisconsin Ave. The Benders Today are accepting Gigs (Clubs, Parties,& Events) throughout The Metro Area. The Core of The Band Is - Richie Mitchell (Vocals, Bass, & Guitar) - Peter Kahn (Vocals, Keyboard, Blues Harmonica, Guitar or Bass) - David Dunbar (Vocals & Guitar) - David Schroeder (Vocals & Percussion) - Tom McAllister (Drums). We are Vesitile in several ways - We able to perform a very wide range of music - We can add Performers as necessary depending on Your needs. Richie Mitchell has been fortunate to perform with some great musicians throughout the years - That includes the Great Musicians that I Perform with in The Benders.
