Sweet four-part harmonies, high energy, good times -- that's the Superdeluxe Music Experience that is the Fitch Brothers. With a diverse musical style and a true flair for performing “not the usual cover songs” (plus some award-winning originals), we incorporate a special blend of classic rock, blues & everything in-between.
The Fitch Brothers have been playing together for several years in a variety of 3, 4 & 5-piece set-ups, always with superb musicianship. From large festivals to intimate private events as well as nightclubs, fundraisers and even corporate events, you can always be sure of that genuine FITCH-TASTIC sound. Look us up online and on YouTube for live videos.
This past weekend, I traveled to Philadelphia from Boston and had a chance to check out The Fitch Brothers at Brittingham's.
I have heard about The Fitch Bros. for a few years but, up until this past Saturday night, I had never heard them play live. As one who has been to hundreds of professional concerts and has heard a thousand club and bar bands, my expectations were that it would be a fun evening and that the music would be pretty good.
Boy, did I underestimate these guys.
For 4-5 hours, these guys ground out one amazing tune after another, mostly covers of great classic rock songs with a few original gems thrown in also. The sets included favorites by The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead, David Bowie, Simon & Garfunkel, Billy Joel, The Who and many more great bands.
Every tune was performed with exceptional quality and the band was able to maintain the greatness of the classic arrangements while adding their own unique signature to the music (and occasionally the lyrics). Each song was a home run and their rendition of The Who's "Eminence Front" was a grand slam that had everyone in the venue on their feet.
The members of the band, especially front man, A.J. Fitch, were funny, high energy and interacted beautifully with the audience. They really successfully got the crowd into the show, even bringing some audience members up on stage to participate from time to time.
I know from sitting with others who were catching The Fitch Brothers for the first time that they had the same response as I did.
These guys are awesome!
Response from The Fitch Brothers:
Thanks Michael! Hope you make it to the Philly area again. If you do, the tab is on us.
For more than 3 years, the Fitch Brothers have continued to grow their repertoire and fan base at our Lafayette Hill Pub, Brittingham's. Always packing the place, they leave our guests fulfilled on a Saturday night and fit in perfectly with out atmosphere. Nostalgic if you're in the 30-50 wheelhouse. Off the cuff bringing you songs you'd think you'd never here in a bar. And simply surprised that a good group of local guys can find the time to put together such a good show. Come check them out next time they are here!

An energetic and engaging band. We are not background music unless you really want us to be. Our leader Adam (a.k.a. AJ Fitch) can warm up any audience with his witty banter and frequent comments about the band.
Who plays Space Oddity at a wedding? We do. Who plays Last Dance with Mary Jane at a cancer benefit? We do.
We'll always be happy to run the setlist by you beforehand but you get the drift. We are not your typical cover band! And with the Fitch Brothers' vocal and musical chops, no song is too big a challenge. Here's a run-down of the talent we have on board...
AJ FITCH: Vocals, rhythm & lead guitars, harmonica, percussion
ENTERTAINMENT BARON. ENERGETIC. A BLUESMAN REINCARNATED.
AJ rarely stops moving. That's because he lives to entertain.
AJ is a founding member of the band and he delivers a memorable
Fitch Brothers show every time!
JJ FITCH: Vocals, piano, keyboards
REAL ESTATE NOBLEMAN. IVORY TICKLER. HE'S GOT MAD CHOPS.
JJ sure knows his way around the piano, and his vocal contributions to the Fitch Brothers makes for a fantastic live experience. JJ is a founding member of the band.
RJ FITCH: Vocals, rhythm & lead guitars, percussion
DAYTIME INDUSTRIALIST. OLD SOUL. A HECK OF A MUSICIAN.
RJ has a unique, percussive guitar style that truly drives the backbone of that genuine Superdeluxe Fitch-tastic sound. RJ is a founding member of the band.
LORD CHALFONT FITCH: Drums, percussion
A WRITER'S WRITER. SUPER CHILL. OH HE'S GOT THE BEAT.
Lord C likes to beat those skins and has some serious percussive savvy. He may seem quiet, but boy this guy knows how to make some noise.
UK FITCH: Bass, vocals
BUSINESS MYSTERY MAN. COOL ACCENT. 4-STRING THUMPER.
UK Fitch brings a solid, thoughtful bass sound to the Bros! Plus, with a super cool British accent that says "I'm not here to colonize, I'm here to harmonize," UK adds a layer to the complex Fitch harmonies you've come to know and love.
For large events such as weddings, we work with a top-notch D.J. and typically hire a professional sound company. Otherwise, we provide our own sound equipment which is suitable for small venues.
