Since 2014, the Flux Capacitors have specialized in danceable HIT SONGS OF THE 70s, 80s, 90s, and more! Looking for a band that lived through all the music we play? We're your band! We come fully equipped with costumes, wigs, lights, sound, and lots of fun. We can provide an all 80s show, all 90s show, or a blend of hits from the 70s to now. Some of the artists we cover: Duran Duran, Poison, Madonna, Clash, Green Day, Def Leppard, Pat Benatar, Bush, Simple Minds, Bangles, Garbage, Billy Idol, Modern English, No Doubt, Twisted Sister, J. Geils, Romantics, Bryan Adams, Jimmy Eat World, Cars, Knack, STP, Tommy Tutone, Robert Palmer, Beastie Boys, Go-Go's, and much more!
Absinthe was a pleasure to work with. Very professional, showed up and set up on time and provided great entertainment for our guests. The setlist was spot on for a 80's 90's rock cover band. Solid musicians with top notch equipment, great quality sound. Would hire again in a heartbeat.

I feel like we hit the jackpot with Absinthe. They came to the site of the party (which was in the northwest suburbs, while they live in the southern suburbs) and set everything up the evening before the gig. I was happy to see them take the party as seriously as we did! The party was for over 100 adults with disabilities, and they were such a hit...and thankfully super patient with a few over-enthusiastic party-goers. I can't say enough good things about this group of people - the music was lively and fun, the lights brought fun to the stage, and they enjoyed themselves almost as much, I think, as the party-goers. I can't put into words how awesome Absinthe was! They were beyond helpful, accommodating, professional and last but not least- talented!! I loved their set list and they rocked it! Everyone had a blast and I couldn't be more than happy with them. I plan on going to their future events to see them play again, they were that good! An amazing time was had by all!
