The Fun House Porcupines are three musicians, a stand up bassist, jazz guitarist and a singer that switches between ukulele, piano and guitar. We'll gladly use any piano the venue can offer, or bring our own keyboard if necessary.
We can play completely acoustically or fully plugged in, from background music to a full showcase band. We also have multiple sets on hand for different genres of music- old-timey swing, kids' music and comedy originals and can cater our show to suit any venue's needs.
Our bandleader, Robby Ravenwood, is a professional stand-up comic/emcee and loves to interact with the crowd in between songs- telling jokes and asking musical trivia (correct answers are rewarded with tiny plastic dinosaurs). This can can be dialed back or punched up as needed for the venue, and we have no problem playing a fully instrumental show with zero jokes/crowd interaction.
