The Gallants

The Gallants were the ideal band for our corporate event. They played a perfect blend of jazz and pop music, providing background music during dinner and then turning up the beat and getting everyone on the dance floor. Our guests were still talking days later about the great time they had. I will definitely rebook this band when I have another opportunity in the New York area.

We were so impressed with the way that the Gallants elevated our event. They came as a team of 4, they dressed extremely professional and they made sure to keep tabs with us throughout the night to make sure we were more than satisfied with the way the night was going. We'll be booking them again.

I booked The Gallants for a corporate cocktail at Rockefeller Center and to say that this jazz band DELIVERS - would be an understatement. Can’t wait to book The Gallants for our next soirée!

We hired The Gallants for our wedding and they were great! From the first song, all of our guests were commenting on how good the band was. They are very talented, were easy to communicate with leading up to the event, and everyone loved the music.

I had the pleasure working with The Gallants during a wedding that I planned on behalf of Pollyanna Events and I have only amazing things to say! From the beginning of the planning process, Roma was very responsive and clear in his responses to my emails. During the event, the band was on time and their set up was seamless. They were also to work with the difficult space and made the entire process very easy. They played during guest arrival and cocktail hour creating a perfect ambiance for those parts of the event. After the event. Roma took the time to thank both the couple and us (the planners) which I thought was a very personal approach that made the day even more special for the newlyweds. I highly recommend hiring The Gallants for your next event!

The band performed exceptionally. In addition, the band went above and beyond in all respects. I would not hesitate for a moment to book them again for another event nor should you!

We hired The Gallants for our wedding after searching the area for a band that could provide a classy atmosphere for the entire reception and with the range to play both jazz standards and some soul music for the guests to dance to. Everything about our interactions with the Roma (singer) was set up to make our decision very reassuring. We were able to view the set list, and even edit it to remove some songs neither myself or my wife wanted to hear. On the day of the band also made themselves available and arrived early to offer audio setup assistance for the actual ceremony. My wife and I had no need to supervise the setup everything worked perfectly.
As for the actual performance, The Gallants played for hours (during cocktails and after dinner) and the guest reaction was overwhelmingly ecstatic. Myself and several of the guests are musicians as well and we were really impressed with the versatility of the band. They basically played a three hour set with a short break and never showed any signs of tiring! Leading up to the event, Roma helped us decide on a bride and groom first dance song, and even worked with us to choose the tempo and length that worked for us. I can't stress enough how much more personal this was made than having a DJ simply fade out a song. It felt tailor-made to us and was beautifully played. The volume, tone, and intensity of the performers was excellent and with such a well crafted mix of jazz standards and pop/neo soul the evening had songs that pleased everyone and got people dancing. Roma and the band were friendly, professional, and above all they sounded fantastic.
These days so many people opt for a DJ at weddings, but if you really want your event to have a human element to fully express the bond between two humans than you really must consider a live band. This said you can do no better than The Gallants. They made the special evening unforgettable and we hope to see them at future events.

I’ve hired The Gallants for a few events and they are always on point. They are so versatile with the types of vibes, songs, and themes that they would be a great fit for all and any events. Not to mention they are all friendly and bring such positive energy to the events!! Highly highly recommend.

Absolutely an amazing group of musicians! 10/10 would book again! Roma was incredibly responsive prior to the event and even during the event. They were incredibly accommodating to our hectic holiday party. Everyone was very professional and they arrived on time, one less thing I had to worry about. My CEO was very happy with their entertainment which made me even happier. I'd hire them again for an event with fewer interruptions next time. Couldn't recommend a better group!

The Gallants played during our Ceremony and Cocktail Hour. They were amazing - all of our guests raved on the beautiful vocals and melodies. I must say they were the highlight at our Ceremony. They set the mood extremely well and took my breath away as I walked down the aisle to "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri. I highly recommend the Gallants if you want to impress your guests. I would definitely use the Gallants again for future events :)

Julian and his band mates are extraordinarily talented musicians. We had a special request for the party to have some sort of a real jam session over popular songs and jazz standards. I don't know how The Gallants managed to interact and involve Everyone at our party, but there's something magical about their energy that makes me book them over and over again.

The 5 piece jazz band was professional, from booking to the date of the event. They were willing to work with us for our cocktail party and gave us many customizable options. The music was thoughtfully picked and fit the mood we were going for. I Highly recommend The Gallants.
