The Groove Party

The Groove Party is a professional, full service band that plays everything from Sinatra, to Classic Rock, Funk, Motown, 80's classics, as well as hits of today. Throughout our time together, we have performed for over 1000 events, including organizations such as General Motors, Ford, Kellogg's, the PGA, Amway Corp, UAW, major state hospitals, charity groups, both the Michigan Republican and Democratic Parties, the Michigan governor’s ball, and even performing in Disney World, as well as hundreds of weddings. Our experienced band members have also served as members of national and international acts such as Joe Cocker, Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), Bo Diddley, Rare Earth, Mitch Ryder and many others.

The Groove Party is also fortunate enough to have all 8 members serving as exceptional lead vocalists, providing you and your guests with the widest variety of sounds and styles possible. We are more than willing to learn songs for your special day; whether it is the first dance, or a special father/daughter or even mother/son request, we are happy to fulfill your needs. In addition to providing dance music for the evening, we can also provide live music for a ceremonies, cocktails, dinner and even DJ music-services throughout breaks the band takes.
