The Happy Wanderers are talented, fun and professional band available for year round German events. Breweries, country clubs, private parties, birthdays, anniversaries, Oktoberfests, pool parties, libraries, community events, park districts, parades and more! We feature accordion with Bavarian Bells, trumpet/flugelhorn, tuba, lead vocalist in German and English, and drums playing traditional German music and some oldies rock and standards. Fun for the whole family or 21+ show. Prost!
We hired The Happy Wanderers for our Oktoberfest at our Supportive Living community and let me just say it was an hour of non stop music and fun! Stan and Ross was absolutely amazing. Our residents just loved the music and the way they kept the audience engaged during it. After the event residents asked if we can have them back again next year for Oktoberfest!
Response from The Happy Wanderers:
Thank you, Lindsey! We appreciate your positive feedback and would love to play for you and your residents again!
Our entire event was upgraded by this band's presence. A great time was had by all. Looking forward to next year!
Response from The Happy Wanderers:
Thank you, Dale! The Happy Wanderers appreciate your 5 Star Review. It was our pleasure playing for your October"FestWeen" party! Likewise!
We were very pleased with Joe. He was fun and lively. He engaged the crowd and had them singing along. Our residents with German heritage were overjoyed!

The Happy Wanderers arrive 45-60 minutes prior to your start time. We will bring all our own equipment unless a PA/sound tech is provided by the venue. The Happy Wanderers will dress in authentic lederhosen/dirndl attire. Our first set is one solid hour. Then a 10-15 minute break depending on the length of the gig. After the break, we will play up to the top of the hour. Repeating this process for the entire gig. Of course, we are flexible if the client needs a special schedule.
A formal stage isn't required. However, a level playing surface near electric power is. If outside, a deck or patio is best to give our optimal sound. We cannot play directly on the grass. Plywood or carpet must be put down (provided by client). An area of 20' x 15' works well.
