The Highsteppers

We hired The Highsteppers for a backyard reception party "Shindig", and they were truly the main event! Jack was great to coordinate with throughout the process and stopped by our house ahead of time to scope out different possible locations for their stage and answer our many questions. It was not a small task for them to lug all the equipment into our backyard, but the whole crew was professional and communicative the day-of, which was really helpful as we were navigating a lot of logistics. The Highsteppers' sets were the highlight of our celebration, and family and friends of all ages had a blast on the dance floor. They did a great job balancing our song preferences with their expertise on what would make a good party set. We've been getting compliments on the music from our neighbors and attendees for weeks after the event. I'd recommend The Highsteppers to anyone who values high-quality live music to take their party to the next level.

Jack and his band "The Highsteppers" performed for approx. 200 neighbors in our Seattle neighborhood. Towards the end, the band had a crowd of dancers at the front and many people remarking how "AMAZING" this particular group was. Thank you to them for bringing their energy and tunes to our community!

The Highsteppers played our wedding in Hood River, OR and guests could not stop talking about it - the set list, the range of instruments, the vocals, Sunny playing his horn on top of the tables. Truly an unforgettable experience. Having been to many weddings, I know its no small feat to get a group of 100 white, mostly midwesterners out to the wedding dance floor but The Highsteppers nailed it. Highly recommend.

My husband and I hired The Highsteppers for our wedding and it was the best decision we ever made. They were able to accommodate both our cocktail hour music with just a few band members and then our music for the rest of the night with the whole band. It truly felt like we threw a summer concert because of how much fun and energy they brought to our wedding. Also they were able to learn our song of choice for our first dance which is my favorite memory of the whole night. I can not emphasize enough what an amazingly talented, fun and generous group of musicians the Highsteppers are, and highly recommended them if you are looking for great live music for your event.

The Highsteppers took our wedding to unforeseen heights. I cried. They cried. They truly blew us away. I was looking for a wedding band, now I’m a groupie! I play a little music and they totally accommodated me getting on stage and doing a couple ditties. They were also naturals at helping us announce toasts and events. 10 out of 10. Would hire them again a heartbeat. We’re in Portland and looked at every band in town, but none of them had the right stuff. The Highsteppers have it. Now that our wedding is over, we’re trying to scheme how to hire them again in the future… Until then!

The Highsteppers performed at our wedding and they really *made* the reception. Powerhouse vocalists that brought everyone to the dance floor. Jack, the manager, is incredibly easy to work with, good communicator, fast, has good advice during the planning process. They provided a pianist for our ceremony who showed up and timed everything perfectly (without any rehearsal!).

Plus, they were super easy about travel logistics (we got married in the San Juan Islands) and they're just outrageously talented. They even learned a couple songs at our request. We're still hearing from guests about how much they loved the music.

The Highsteppers played our wedding and they pretty much made the whole night. We really wanted musicians who were really good at their craft and could really put on a show for us. We were looking for a concert for our wedding night and the The Highsteppers blew us away. They are true professionals. They brought their own stage setup, glowing sign, and lights - and then put on a show that we will never forget. What an incredible group of talented musicians!

The Highsteppers provided the entertainment for my wife’s 60th birthday party. It was at our private venue in Yakima for our 80 guests. From my initial contact thru the day of the event the communication and booking was smooth and easy. The band was professional, their music and entertainment was stellar and EVERYONE, from the 60-70 yr olds down through the generations to my 14 month old granddaughter had a fabulous time. This band rocks, the vocals were beautiful, the horns soulful, the guitars and keyboard and drummer tight; in a word AWESOME. Thanks for making the trip over, it was an unforgettable night!

The band was amazing and exceeded our expectations. They played all the right tunes from the Motown era and got everyone in the dancing mood. The singers were phenomenal and Jack the band manager was very responsive and easy to work with. I would book them again.

They had a group of over 600 people dancing during what was orginally supposed to be cocktail hour and dinner. There energy was contagious and the big band sound filled an entire aircraft hangar. Everyone enjoyed them so much we begged them to play an extra hour past there scheduled time and they obliged. Cannot recommend them higher!

We had a band drop out on our event with short notice and the Highsteppers were able to step in (ha!) and save the day. They brought a whole live sound setup and looked and sounded fabulous. We are most certainly going to be booking them again for future events.

Wow we had so much fun. We all danced until we dropped! The band was amazing. We already hired them again for next year, can't wait!

They did the best classics, and new stuff too, it was so fun! So nice to have a real live band and not a DJ. We were getting compliments on the band all night. Such a great time! Thanks Highsteppers, you rock.

We hired the Highsteppers to play our holiday party and they were amazing! They had even our most shy staff members dancing. So fun and super professional. We will definitely be hiring them again soon!
