It was an honor and a privilege to have The Incandescent out and do worship and a concert for our event. The guys were all amazing! I have worked with others in the past who were not as flexible or as easy to work with as The Incandescent. Everything was great from the time they showed up to the time they left. Again, it was a blessing to have them come and be part of our event. We most definitely will be looking forward to having them in the future.
I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this new indie rock band from the Pacific Northwest, so I listened to the album with no premeditated expectations. And I have to admit, I’m already a big fan of this group! With talented musicians and vocals, this rock band has all the qualities to be added to any mainstream rock collection.
The Album “Planting Bulbs” definitely does not shy away from glorifying God. Their softer rock sound is similar to other groups such as By The Tree, or Building 429. The encouragement in their lyrics is immense. Every song in this album brings praise to God in a reverent and fresh way. Songs like “Your love is” and “Heart that Wanders” reminds us of the awesomeness of God and our call to desire to seek Him first. The energetic song “Great and Glorious” is probably my album favorite. It’s well written and I couldn’t help but jump to the beat and sing along with the chorus.
I believe the band is aptly named The Incandescent because their music is bright, illuminating and will certainly be a glowing light in the music industry. This is a great debut EP and I can’t wait to see what else The Incandescent will have for us in the future!

These guys go above and beyond the call as band members! They pick their sets according to the theme of the event, they can and do coordinate production details (i.e. sound, lights) and they interact great with kids and adults. They're definitely not "Trying to hard to be cool". Ministry and outreach seems to be their first priority and I think they're very real and transparent guys. Keep it up!!!

These guys are an encouraging and uplifting group of young men. Their passion for God shows through their actions and radiates from their music. My hope this band is that God would take them to great heights to impact people for His kingdom. Me & my family are definite fans of The Incandescent!

The Incandescent brings an energetic live concert experience with them wherever they go. Whether leading worship or playing a rock show of their original music, you will have an uplifting, engaging, & exciting experience. The Band is also available for booking on tours, or if you need a filler band on a particular tour date.
If you need a band for your youth group or church camp The Incandescent is a great resource. They work with you on determining musical style desired by the event leaders, and plan music sets that tie into camp theme and message. In addition to being a great band for your camp or conference they'll also interact with your students (families) throughout the duration of the event. They'll encourage and work alongside the attendees to help them maximize their camp/conference experience. (NOTE: If needed The Band can also help arrange and determine production needs for the event.)
The Incandescent will travel as far as needed to make an engagement happen. However if a single event is more than 100 miles away from home (Spokane, WA) the purchaser must pay for airfare or cover travel expenses that The Band may incur in route. Should the purchaser opt for air passage they must provide, hotel, meal, and equipment accommodations upon arrival.
The Incandescent – An internationally touring rock band from the Pacific Northwest with members Collin Johnson, Ryan Armstrong, Zach Wright, Shane Collins, and Andrew McArdle. In late 2010 The Incandescent started as a collaborative worship project between Armstrong, McArdle, and former member Kellen Rowe. It became clear during 2011 that the group was meant to be more than a worship band in their hometown; and in the time since the band has gone on to perform at a plethora of events with many great artists.
To date the band has played Creation Festivals, Spirit Festivals NW, Spirit Festivals TX, Dove Fest, Son Fest, High Voltage & Worship Fest. They have also had the privilege to share the stage with these great artists: TobyMac, Third Day, Needtobreathe, Peter Furler (The Newsboys), Kutless, Ryan Stevenson, Colton Dixon, & Starfield. The band has released two recording projects as an independent group. 2012’s Planting Bulbs EP & The Incandescent EP in 2014. They are currently slated to release multiple recording projects in 2016.
Although they are from different walks of life, each member knows they have been brought together for one purpose; to glorify God and to bring a message of Hope and inspiration to anyone who hears their music.
