The Invasion celebrates the music of and inspired by the British Invasion era. We perform songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Yardbirds and many others. Using period correct instruments and attire, we recreate the sound, the look and the fun of that magical era. The Invasion features four skilled, versatile musicians dedicated to performing faithful renditions of these iconic songs. These guys are very talented! The songs are almost entirely British Invasion era, with maybe one or two offerings from the Yanks from the same period. One of the things that make The Invasion so exceptional is their authenticity: great musicians playing accurate renditions of classic songs including the often over-looked backing vocals and harmonies. Fun to see and hear- they dress in period dress and play period correct instruments through vintage amps. You'll know many of their classic songs by heart, and it's just a blast to hear them played so well. Very enjoyable and memorable- go hear them!

The Invasion is a top-shelf Ready-for-Vegas band just waiiting to happen. They are that good! I can't say enough about their harmonies, their tone, their professionalism and overall presentation. All band members are fantastic and are masters within themselves....but when they play together, they create an amazing sound! Prior to performing many of the 60 classics, they first set them up with British Invasion fun facts or trivia for the audience to participate in. Whether it's trivia from the 60's, a 60's memory of one of the band members or a story on how the band found each other (awesome), each story is personal to these passionate musicians which is then displayed for the audience to see through their great musicianship and execution. What an awesome filming session on Sunday! So glad I was able to make that! That was a great day! Thanks guys!

This group was fantastic to hear. They did an over the top performance. Every song they played topped the one prior. The audience, myself included, really enjoyed them. they were asked to return by the end of the 1st set. They play alot of 60's Beatles, Rolling Stones, 70's Eric Clapton...they hit every note perfectly!

I have hired individual members of this group to play at an open house event in Kalamazoo. I was very happy with the overall entertainment they provided for my event. The professionalism with which was presented, along with personally entertaining the crowd, was noticed by all in attendance. I still have folks talk about my event last year. We strive to take the audience back to the 60s when the British Invasion took us by storm.. You will hear the music the way it was back then. We stay as true to the original recordings as possible. We also wear straight leg jeans, Beatle boots, skinny ties, etc. to get the look right. We also fill the stage with vintage music through authentic gear such as Rickenbacker, Gretsch, Vox, Hofner, Ludwig just to name a few. If you like the 60s rock and roll you will Love us.
We provide lights and PA and can contract for events of up to 1000 people outdoors by the top of our price range. Larger performances may be negotiated. We can accommodate song requests as long as they match our show and we have ample time to prepare.
The Invasion is Detroit's premier British Invasion cover band. Bob, Ron, David and Donn were drawn together from a love of the music from the other side of the pond that came to us here in the 1960s. All 4 members of the band sing tight, well-crafted harmonies. Add to that expert instrumentation on era inspired gear, the best of the music of that magical decade and you have The Invasion's formula for a good time.
This project has been a true joy for the boys who have had a shared love for this music but have never come together just for the idea of pursuing the music of the Beatles and those who followed. Add to that the fact that each of the guys has been playing professionally for years and are now having the time of their lives with this music, and I'm sure you'll have a great time too!
