Overview
The Kevin Gerzevitz Trio consists of piano, bass and drums, and plays the repertoire of '50's bebop and '60's soul jazz. Kevin also plays accordion in The KG Trio de Jazz Manouche, focusing on early American swing and French jazz popularized in the 1930's by guitarist Django Reinhardt.

Kevin’s trio was perfect for our outdoor gathering. The minute they began playing, everyone was so impressed and excited! You don’t find this quality of music easily. We had people dancing, listening, and also just enjoying the atmosphere and chatting. Kevin is always easy to communicate with and the group was just perfect! I highly recommend this trio and am looking forward to attending their public performances as well as passing on Kevin’s name to anyone who asks.

Booking the Kevin Gerzevitz trio was a top-notch experience from start to finish. They are incredibly talented! Their sound was mesmerizing, and expertise apparent. I really appreciated the time they took to go over my preferred playlist before the event, and they responded respectfully when I had last minute changes. Communicative, kind, punctual and considerate, I can't wait to hire them again.

About
Kevin Gerzevitz is a professional musician, composer and teacher based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a keyboardist, specializing in piano, accordion and jazz organ. He has scored several independent films and has produced corporate music for clients which include Google, Apple, LucasArts, Sprint, Macy's, Brøderbund, and Hasbro. Kevin can be seen performing with SF Bay Area bands B3B4, Jimbo Trout and the Fishpeople, Kathryn Keats, and The Kevin Gerzevitz Trio. He holds a B.M.A. from the University of Michigan (1990), with majors in Music Theory and German, has an Orff-Schulwerk Teaching Certification from Mills College (2005), and is currently the Music & Movement specialist at Pacific Primary School in San Francisco.
