We hired The Last Decade to DJ our wedding, and also for the band's lead singer to do acoustic song covers for about an hour in between the ceremony and reception. They were fantastic. Jonathan is so organized and put together awesome playlists to play throughout the night, but also took in our recommendations to make the playlists more us. Our wedding guests were in awe of the music all night, and especially the live acoustic music. We've also seen the band play live several times and they are always a fun time!

I had the last decade play for my 40th birthday a couple of weeks ago and they blew all my expectations out of the water! They curated the perfect soundtrack to ring my friends and I back to our glory days covering everything from gru ge to emo. Their cover of killing in the name of might have been the best I've ever heard. I am still getting compliments on the party and largely due to their performance. We hired The Last Decade for a backyard party celebrating my husband's 40th. We had the BEST time thanks to their live music and great energy. They played so many of our favorite songs, and we were all singing along and dancing, not wanting the music to end.

Peforming songs from 'the last great decade of rock music" we play bands like Green Day, Foo Fighters, Blink-182 and Weezer. THE LAST DECADE - BLACK LABEL
Our standard private event setup, which focuses around a rock concert at your event. We provide all sound, lighting and background music between sets. Black Label services include:
Sound systems in multiple distinct areas (up to 2 areas) to allow for sound for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing
Dynamic lighting around band performance area
Standard music playlists for between band sets
Consultation ahead of time to discuss music needs and choices and work through the event timeline.
THE LAST DECADE - WHITE LABEL
Our high-end private event setup, standard for weddings. We come in formal attire, provide MC services, DJ services and all event coordination for the day. White Label services include:
Sound systems in multiple distinct areas (up to 3 areas) to allow for sound for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing
Wireless microphone for announcements and speeches
DJ Services for first dances, intro music, between band sets and dinner
Dynamic lighting in a dance area
MC services, to announce the bridal party, shuffle guests between spaces and make announcements
1-2 custom requested songs performed by the band (not on our set list)
CUSTOM music playlists for dinner and dancing between band sets - we work with you to completely tailor the songs you want and matching similar songs based on your requests.
Consultations several times ahead of time to discuss music needs and choices, work through the timeline, coordinate with any event coordinators you might have and ensure all logistics are in place.
DJ SERVICES
As a compliment to a The Last Decade performance before and after sets, or as a stand alone service DJC can provide music for any occasion. Specializing in wedding ceremonies, dances and special event music, we customize the playlist specifically for you event and be very flexible to take requests throughout the night.
You provide the power and at least a 15' x 10' space and we handle the rest! We bring a full, high-powered sound system and lighting to all events.
