Pia and her team served my wedding of 250 people in Providence, RI in June 2023. The staff was professional, friendly and willing to handle everything smoothly! Pia was well organized and went out of her way to make every detail perfect. Would suggest The Laurel Tree to friends and family, we look forward to working with them again!

Wow! Where do I even begin!? Pia is the most wonderful person ever! On top of everything that we and the guests needed but that's only the beginning. She was so kind and sweet and seriously helped my and my wife's special day be the most it could ever be. If you have an event of any kind, definitely book through The Laurel Tree because you will be just as impressed as I was! Not only that, but just about every single guest specifically came up to me to tell me how phenomenal she was! Best of luck on your business, Pia! We send so much gratitude!

Pia and her waitstaff worked my wedding. We required lots of problem solving as our appetizers and dinners needed to be assembled, and we were in a rush, so I wasn’t able to assemble all the ingredients needed prior to her showing up. We were staying at an inn with multiple fridges and ingredients spread out across the entire place. Pia and her team were able to find all the ingredients and serve both our appetizers and dinner flawlessly without intervention from me, despite our less than adequate communication (bad on my end).

During the wedding they were super attentive to guests, provided anything we needed (cake knife, where did they even find one?). We should have booked them for a longer amount of time, but I told them they could leave when our time was up. Pia let her workers go, and continued to help clean up despite my telling her she should not feel obligated.

She stayed significantly past her agreed to time and helped more than I ever could have imagined.

Pia is amazing, I tipped twice and I couldn’t fit in a third before she left! She’s that great. Thank you so much!

I was initially nervous to hire waitstaff because our wedding was very “DIY” at a venue that didn’t normally do weddings. So everything required for a wedding had to be rented by us.

I hosted my annual Kentucky Derby Party for 30+ guests. It was the first time I truly enjoyed the party and did not worry about one detail. From the moment Pia and Bailey arrived, they jumped into action. Everything from passed appetizers, setting up the buffet, dessert table and the bar---it was was organized, timed perfectly and my guests commented on the excellent service and professionalism. My house was immaculate at the end of the evening. Pia a is pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her and her team for any event, they truly exceeded my expectations!

I highly recommend The Laurel Tree. I had a sit-down dinner party for 27 people and Pia helped make everything go so smoothly. From the moment she walked in the door, her pleasant and professional demeanor, along with her calmness put me right at ease. Pia did everything to make the party a success, from passing apps and helping get the food ready for the buffet, to keeping things cleaned up and looking great to making sure guests at every table had everything they needed. I had guests coming up to me throughout the night commenting how fabulous she was! Pia just knew exactly what to do, so I could actually talk to guests and enjoy the evening. Thank you, Pia for helping make my husband's birthday a memorable one!

Pia was a pleasure to work with leading up to our event. Dania was our waitstaff and we could not have asked for a better person! She greeted the guests and passed apps for hours with a smile on her face. It was a success because of her. We hired the Laurel Tree fo help out with my son’s birthday party. Pia was very kind and helpful. The event went very smoothly with her help. Would def work with Laurel Tree in the future and highly recommend.

Pia did an amazing job helping us at a dinner party in our home. She was professional, thoughtful about every detail, extremely hard-working and overall was the key to a successful event. We give her our highest recommendation!

We used them for our back yard wedding. Our guests and my bride and I could not believe how professional and how nice all the staff was. They were so gracious and did an amazing job serving and cleaning up. I will always remember how professional they were and the immense hospitality they added to our day.

Of course, I was running well behind with the set-up of the birthday party I was hosting. My nerves were running high since I have never hosted that many people. Pia, in her calming way, took charge; running her decisions by me first, calmed my nerves and assured me everyone was enjoying themselves. She communicated with the caterer once the food arrived, where to place it, how much to put out at once and made sure all the guests were taken care of during dinner. They even grilled the rolls and made the lobster rolls for me that I didn't have a chance to do beforehand. The dishes were all cleaned and the leftover food was situated for me before they left. I will most definitely use The Laurel Tree in the future! You won't be disappointed!

Pia came out to my event and she was incredible. Very very professional and kind. She took the Initiative and knew exactly what to do very little direction from me, she’s knew exactly what to do. she was so kind to my kids and made them a little dinner while I was hosting! She set up our table so elegantly as well! I highly recommend her to any and all events!

Pia and her team were amazing! They came right in, got the reception tables decorated and got right to business. They were fast, worked very well as a team and definitely have the experience needed.

Pia was amazing! She showed up early and jumped right in. She made everything look better than I would have and I never had to ask her to do anything because she knew exactly what was needed the whole time. She was so professional and kind. Pia helped me for a memorial celebration at my home for my sister who passed away and I’m sure it was a difficult event to be at. She couldn’t have been more perfect. I’m truly thankful!

Salad for my party and events

This was the second time having Pia work a party of me at my home. She is just like having a friend come to help you out. Interacts with the guests. Everything is spotless and she can work the grill like a pro too. You won’t be sorry hiring her. Can’t wait to see her again on the 14th.
