Gig Length: 45 - 180 minutes
The LeveeToppers guarantee a spirited show that will get the audience on their feet and singing along till it's time to go home. Their set list consists of a mixture of old-time fiddle tunes and bluegrass numbers with stunning three-part harmonies. A set can last anywhere from 45 minutes to an entire night - their repertory and energy is inexhaustible. The LeveeToppers don't need much; they can play unamplified as well as through a PA. The LeveeToppers are well-suited to a variety of events including but not limited to: weddings, parties, bar shows, corporate events, square dances, and farmer's markets.
If you are interested in having a square dance, The LeveeToppers have a square dance caller available.
The LeveeToppers fuse old-time and bluegrass in a way that sounds authentically old but uniquely individual - an expression of the trio's simultaneous commitment to tradition and self-expression. Drawing from both the popular and obscure recordings of early Appalachian music, this group plays solely for the love of the music. Their sound is raw, high-energy fun distilled from the faded records of the past. Be prepared to stomp and dance the night away with a band like no other in the New Orleans area.
