The Lewis Brothers is one of the best known bluegrass bands on the east coast-and for good reason. They have great instrumentalists and great vocals. Wanamaker Lewis was very communicative and put me at ease for our upcoming event. He sent me a set list of song I could choose from and also played a special request. The band was on time and patient (things started a little later than scheduled)

The Lewis Brothers were a great addition to our outdoor company BBQ. Despite the weather being a bit chillier than expected, they played a great set. They arrived exactly when they said they would and were very easy to work with. I would highly recommend them for any event.
I booked The Lewis Brothers recently for my husband's surprise 40th. They were absolutely incredible from start to finish. Not only were they totally professional about communicating with me, showing up early to set up, and engaging with the party guests, their music was just so good. Everyone there that night was loving them and they were fun guys - even let my poor (tone deaf) husband sing "Wagon Wheel" with them. I highly recommend this band.
Hired this band to play at my wifes 50th birthday party. Man were they hot. Great bluegrass standards with a smathering of originals and 60's stuff put to bluegrass instrumentation. Highly recommended.

Wanamaker Lewis leads the Lewis Brothers and as a member of the John Herald Band he has performed with top talent in the folk and bluegrass world-from The Bread and Roses festival -other acts were Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, Jackson Browne and many more.
The Lewis Brothers have played extensively on the East Coast and toured Europe as well.
The Lewis brothers are rounded out by Peter Lorch guitar, lead and tenor vocals, Larry Hunsberger mandolin and warm lead and baritone vocals and Ron Greenstein on bass and baritone vocals.
Together they are a tight unit playing exciting bluegrass.
