The audience can expect a professional and quality performance that is appropriate for their particular event. Lynda and Dave are veteran performers and have been playing music together since 1982. There is a real chemistry between them and it comes across in their performances. The music is a mix of soul, blues and rock in an unplugged style. The Mercy Duo can provide music for a variety of types of events and also provide their own sound equipment if needed.
The Mercy Duo is very easy to work with and reliable. The success of YOUR event is their priority.
Lynda Morrison and Day are members of the band Mercy (featuring Lynda Morrison). The Mercy Duo is a great way to experience the wonderful voice and charm of Lynda Morrison in a smaller, quieter and more intimate setting. Wineries, small clubs, restaurants, house concerts...any venue that wants music! The Mercy Duo performs originals and covers in an unplugged style.
Technical needs are dependent on the event and venue. The Mercy Duo can provide their own sound and lighting for smaller (100 people or less) events. A reliable power source is all that would be required.
Larger events may require a sound system with at least four available channels, including reverb, phantom power, one Shure SM58 microphone (or something of equal or better quality) and two microphone stands (one boom style and one standard). Also, lighting may need to be provided for larger events or venues.
Staging requirements are dependent on the venue/event style.
