The Minding

The name of the band was taken from a Scottish term that means to "recall or bring something to mind", and that is just what our music does! It will remind you of the great songs from music history and have you humming over and over our unique version of these tunes, along with our originals.

The Minding's music encompasses many genres including, but definitely not limited to, jazz standards, blues, R&B, rock-a-billy, Celtic, bluegrass, pop, rock and even a little gospel.

The band has been in existence since 2011, and includes fiver very talented (not to mention suave and sophisticated) musicians.

We have performed for wedding receptions, wine tastings, community and corporate events, fine musical venues such as the Clocktower Cabaret (a sell-out show!), bistros, private parties, fundraisers and even street parties.

We would like to thank Brian Hunger of Mousetrap Recording Studios for all his hard work, immense talent and good ears. He's been there for us since the beginning.
