An Oldies group from Central Texas playing your favorites from the 50's, 60's, and 70's, The Morticians specialize in classic rock/oldies tunes that entertainers like the Beatles, Buddy Holly, the Rolling Stones, Carole King, Fleetwood Mac, and dozens of other well-known bands imprinted on the musical memory of the Baby Boom generation. They are one of Waco's favorite musical groups - the first choice for many looking for entertainment for a community event, a wedding, or just an old fashioned party!
The Morticians won the Musicians Association of Central Texas award for "Best Oldies Group" numerous times and were inducted into the prestigious MACT "Hall of Recognition" in 2008!
The Morticians peformed at our annual Taurus Society and Beta Theta Pi alumni reunion on Baylor Homecoming Saturday in Waco. They've played for us a number of years and as always they did a great job. The music and singing sounded great and were a welcome accompaniment to our dinner. I'd strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a crowd-pleasing band that can play a variety of classic rock and oldies songs.
The Band was Terrific! Allen sings so well, and the New Female singer was good too!
Buddy, Mark and all the rest were great- but that was expected!
The audience was jamming to the music and requested an encore performance!
