So happy we had The Music Boutique play for our wedding ceremony! Scott was incredible to work with—he was so organized and helped set up a very special playlist for our ceremony. We couldn’t be happier with the musicians who played for us. The ceremony was beautiful because of the them!

The music boutique was excellent they played classical music for my ceremony and modern music for my cocktail hour it was perfect.

I cannot say enough positive things about The Music Boutique. We had reached out to them for our September wedding and they were so responsive, kind and accommodating. We had a few specific songs we had wanted and they had zero issue with any of them (Here comes the sun, sunrise sunset, baby I love your way) and they blew us away with the quality, skill and just all of it. I LOVED our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, they made everything just cherry on top experience. Scott was wonderful, the duo we had at our wedding was INCREDIBLE. Just cannot say enough about how much I appreciate them working with us.

We loved having Scott and the Music Boutique play at our wedding! We had many conversations with Scott before the wedding to discuss our preferences, and he was happy to play different kinds of music including traditional jazz, funkier jazz, and pop covers. Our guests loved the variety! He was always happy to chat over email or the phone about details and to make recommendations. He had lots of great suggestions for the non-musical parts of the ceremony as well! He also did a great job MC-ing parts of the wedding, including toasts and the first dance, and they did a spontaneous Horah. Lastly, we appreciated being able to listen to his music online. I would highly recommend them for a wedding or other event!

Scott and his team at the Music Boutique were honestly my favorite part of my wedding! They were easy to work with, super kind and understanding, and were able to seamlessly navigate through the chaos of the wedding. They even learned a bunch of new songs that we wanted to play that didn’t have sheet music, including the song I walked down the aisle to. They made my wedding dreams quite honestly come true. I’m so impressed. So many of my guests commented on the music they played as well - never did I think I’d get to play a classical version of a Twenty One Pilots song at my wedding! Don’t hesitate to book them for your event. Best decision I made!

We had a trio that played beautifully during our ceremony and cocktail hour. Scott was the MC for our reception were he compiled an arrangement of dance songs for the reception. There are so many variables that go in to planning a wedding and you find yourself feeling the weight of every decision as you try to “get it right”. Well, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that we made the right decision having Music Boutique as a part of our wedding. We went with the trio-piano, violin, cello. You will be in good hands regardless of what combination of instruments you go with but I HIGHLY recommend you work with the trio as it sounds absolutely incredible. Their masterful performance of each song we requested had everyone raving about their presence at our cocktail hour. They were able to enhance our ceremony and truly make an already magical moment into something truly special. Throughout the planning process, Scott was thorough, flexible, and clearly showed his passion for his profession and our wedding. It does not matter what songs of their incredibly diverse list you pick-they all will sound incredible. We wanted a specific song for our ceremony that had to be learned and there was absolutely no problem with learning it-it sounded amazing. With that in mind, I am not one to typically write reviews. However, I feel obligated to let anyone know that they must pick Scott and The Music Boutique if there is any thought of adding music to a special day or event. You will not regret it. We hired a string duo through Scott for our wedding celebration and they were amazing! All of our guests were enchanted by the lovely violin and cello music.

Scott and his musicians made our wedding so special and added such a sophisticated yet fun ambiance to our event. He understood the type of music we wanted immediately and put words to it that we weren't even sure how to express. He also fully composed a song for my husband and I when I wasn't sure what song i wanted to walk down the aisle to, which is so special. Would always recommend him for any event or type of music.

Scott and his team were incredible. From the initial music when guests arrived to our ceremony and then dancing afterwards they did it all. And did it all fantastically well. Live music always brings an added element to any occasion, and Scott and crew took this to the next level. A few months after my sister had finalized all of her other wedding vendors I convinced her she needed live music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. I found The Music Boutique online while living in Nashville, TN. Scott was so wonderful to work with. Him and I were able to make all the arrangements over the phone/email and the day of performance was seamless despite loads of rain and never actually meeting in person. My sister and guests agreed the musicians made the wedding. We had 3 strings and Scott on the keyboard. They even worked out a surprise first dance performance. Don't think twice, Scott and The Music Boutique are wonderful and we cannot recommend them enough!!

When I arrived to the venue Scott was there and because of weather we had to discuss a different area to play. During the process of planning our wedding, our venue had to increase restrictions on noise for outdoor ceremonies and receptions. Scott was an absolute pleasure to work with from our initial request all the way up through the conclusion of our event. His communication was timely, reliable and easy to understand. Scott was EVERYTHING at my wedding! There are simply no other words to accurately convey how important it was to have chosen to work with him for our special day. Not only is he, by far, the most responsive wedding vendor, but he has a magical ability to build a vision of the performance and curate a perfectly unique and custom fit musical blend for your event. It didn’t matter how oddly specific my requests were or how vague my responses could be when I didn’t know how our reception and dancing might/might not work in a COVID conscious world, Scott had it under control. He truly took the temperature of the room and catered to every ebb and flow of energy through the whole event. Correspondence with Scott was so easy and never overbearing, as can be the case with many vendors. With that being said, I knew that I could text him on nearly any day or at any time and receive a prompt response. Scott took every meaningful request I made seriously, even going as far as to customized an arrangement of an old Yiddish folk song so that my departed grandparents could be represented as I walked down the aisle. The music itself was divine and received the highest praise from all of my guests. Scott is right when he says that you never forget GREAT live music and thanks to him, my first dance with my husband, my father/daughter dance, and the music I walked down the aisle to will be just some of the many beloved memories I will get to cherish for a lifetime. My husband and I cannot wait to have another celebratory occasion worthy of working with Scott!

The team at The Music Boutique was so collaborative and easy to work with. Got me a string duo for a surprise engagement proposal in less than a week... coordinated with my friend on logistics to keep the secrete, well, secret. Was super flexible on song list. The musicians were on time, super nice and sounded just wonderful. Together it all made a very special moment that much more memorable. Scott was wonderful every step of the way! Whenever I had any questions, comments, or concerns he was prompt in his response. He was also extremely accomodating, even when I kept changing my mind on various song choices or processional order (hee hee). My husband and I love jazz and swing music and the music boutique fit the bill perfectly. Having live music at the wedding was phenomenal and the guests absolutely loved it. We got multiple compliments about how having live music during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner was so nice. They arrived early and everything was set up smoothly. Scott was incredibly easy to work with! We postponed our wedding twice and he was super flexible during that whole process. Unfortunately, he wasn't personally able to play our wedding due to the postponement but he coordinated a wonderful pianist who made our ceremony and cocktail hour beautiful and inviting. Everyone raved to us about how much they enjoyed the live band and DJ combo. We went with a violinist for our ceremony, jazz pianist for the cocktail hour, and band + DJ for the reception. It was an amazing progression to the evening. Scott is incredible, and worked very closely with us to figure out the type of vibe we wanted, the music we liked, and every other detail to make the day special. I cannot recommend them enough.

Oh WOW. There are no words for how outstanding these guys are. We are a musical family... their musicianship awed us all. But more importantly, the LOVE that was pouring in all directions from the musicians to us, to our family and guests and back to them. He managed the normal flow like the pro that he is. First dance, guests on the dance floor with us, toast, a song to honor my mom, soft music for the meal and once the dancing started we just couldn't stop. Scott pulled together a first class ensemble (we went all out with the usual 4 plus a sax player and female lead vocalist). Of course Scott planned like crazy. We exchanged play lists. He took the time to drive over and we worked out the flow of the guests and schedule of events... but not too much so we allowed some spontaneity. The party was in our garden-- to our surprise Scott even threw in a jazz duo for the cocktail hour before the reception. Our wedding was the happiest day of our lives. And Scott and his peeps played a big part in that.

We worked with Scott Arcangel to coordinate music for our wedding. He was a pleasure to work with, very nice and extremely patient with our many questions. He went above and beyond to make the performance turn out great. He found us a 4 man latin jazz band that included guitar, trumpet, piano and drums. One of the group members also sang and took the role of DJ/MC since we were not hiring a traditional DJ and we needed someone to announce our bridal party and first dances. All the band members were professional and did a great job. The guests really enjoyed the live music. We would have no problem recommending Scott to help with your music needs.

Scott and his team from the Music Boutique were absolutely amazing in everyway possible (total package of amazing people, professionals, and just so talented) . If you like, read no further and just hire them (seriously!!)! If you are like me and need to hear a personal experience for convincing; here goes: being a postponed 2020 covid bride who changed location within 3 months - working with Scott and his team was seamless . From my first email to the Music Boutique, Scott (the owner) responded within 24 hours with everything I had inquired about. We emailed several times since then with what I thought were annoying or silly questions, but he answered everything in full detail and even spoke on the phone with me several times. Going above and beyond, he even went as far as telling me about how the ceremony usually goes and what others have done (as I was pretty confused). He was able to play every random song I requested. He played piano along with a violinist for my ceremony, and had a awesome saxophone player, Geoff for part of my reception. Geoff was able to also play some pretty random songs (hooks to old school rap) along with my DJ (DJ Joey G from Jade Productions who was also great). Overall - I could not recommend Scott and his team more. Hope this helps you pick them!

My daughter used The Music Boutique to book a musical duo for her recent wedding the duo booked was a combination violinist and acoustic guitarist. They were excellent in content and performance. Some of the music played per request included Nirvana, Guns and Roses, Hozier and Pearl Jam the combined beauty of some of the these songs played solely on stringed instruments was truly amazing. Scott & The Music Boutique were an absolute pleasure to work with! Planning a wedding is obviously stressful, and planning one during a pandemic added even more complications. But Scott was like a calming presence to my fiancée and I - he was always relaxed and collected, extremely flexible with our music choices and preferences, reasonably priced, punctual with great follow-up, and the band was a huge hit at our wedding!

We also had some last-minute hiccups with our ceremony, but Scott jumped in to offer us his microphone and PA System, volunteered to do the post-ceremony introductions, and was kind enough to work with us when dinner ran late, playing for an hour longer than scheduled! When we began the process of wedding planning, we knew that we wanted live music to accompany our outdoor cocktail hour, but we had no clue where to start. After hunting around on wedding websites, we came across Scott Arcangel. Once we listened to some of his samples, we knew that his music would bring exactly the atmosphere we were hoping to create at the cocktail hour. In the months and days leading up to the wedding, Scott could not have been kinder. He was incredibly patient and helpful as we tried to determine was size (duo vs. trio) and which instruments we wanted. Given that I don't have a strong background in music, I relied heavily on his advice and expertise, and he did not lead us astray. He helped us select the right combination of musicians and then picked perfect selections for the cocktail hour. We had a beautiful day for the wedding, and the live music in the background truly made it feel magical. Scott is an amazing artist, and an even better person. Do yourself a favor and work with Scott for your wedding!

Scott was unbelievably professional and organized (often picking up on important details that even we would have overlooked). We need a violinist last minute, the week before the wedding! Scott was ready and willing to organize this for us! He found us a wonderful violinist, Kate. He also was helpful making recommendations on songs that would sound beautiful for a solo violinist. When our vows had to start a little later than planned due to issue with timeline Kate was more than willing to make it work! 5 star service!

Scott was truly awesome to work with! We had some crazy requests, including Metallica on the piano, and then traditional music to Ed Sheeran. Scott was so cool and up for the ride. He created the tracks and we watched him on Skype as a practice and it was awesome. Everyone loved the music, as did we! From the get-go, Scott was an Excellent communicator and totally understood what we were looking for - our music tastes aligned perfectly and we were so grateful to find him so quickly. What started as a somewhat stressful search, quickly turned into one of the most positive experiences with a 'vendor' from our whole wedding. He worked with us on a special performance by my sister and friend during our ceremony, he was totally flexible on song choices when we couldn't quite make up our mind...not to mention he played absolutely beautifully on the day!! We had so many compliments from friends and family (most of whom are musicians themselves) on Scott's performance during the ceremony and cocktail hour - also on our song choices which he was so much a part of. Scott was a joy to work with! Super easy, great communicator, prompt in replies and was overall a great vendor and addition to our wedding. He helped facilitate the music choices - which were a little unconventional - with our violist and it all worked out seamlessly. Scott Arcangel's band provided the perfect backdrop to our formal sit-down wedding reception dinner. During the planning process, Scott worked directly with me to discuss the kind of music we wanted, and even offered to bring uplighting, microphones for speeches, and accomomodation for guest performances - one of which was an impromptu performance on the night. He also offered an aux cord so that guests could request and play their own music for the dancefloor, which turned out to be a big hit. We received multiple compliments on the choice of band, and on the night of the reception many guests stopped by Scott's area to compliment the music as well. The combination of the piano, drums, and upright bass was perfect, and at a very reasonable price. The trio even travelled across state lines to be at the wedding reception, where they arrived punctually and provided a smooth, easy listening experience that enhanced the atmosphere of the reception in a way that only a top-notch band could. I would not hesitate to book Scott Arcangel's band, and would highly recommend them to all!

Scott provided entertainment for my Christmas party. To say he did an outstanding job is an understatement.
