About
NeekoMya a melodic and powerful voice has been entertaining audiences since a very young age. When her mom heard her sing the song “No Pain No Gain” at age 5, she knew then that NeekoMya would be gracing the stage very soon. Performing in Atlanta’s clubs since her teen years, NeekoMya has been afforded many great opportunities, such as the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1996 Olympic Games, appearance on BET's The Monique Show, studio projects with Natalie Cole, opening act for gospel greats like Fred Hammond and CeCe Winnans, the film “Meet the Browns” by Tyler Perry, and a reality TV show in the USA called “Welcome to Dreamland” just to name a few. NeekoMya studied music business and music theatre at North Atlanta School of the performing Arts where she developed a greater love and passion for the arts. While many of these opportunities have allowed her to switch styles with ease so that when she’s on stage the audiences can’t help but stare in awe and be mesmerized by her voice, her talent and her amazing energy that she thrust into the crowd every time she hits the stage. Recently Golden NeekoMya has toured overseas in Southeast Asia to grace the stage six nights a week sharing her amazing gift with the world as she has always dreamed. This is just the beginning of a dream fulfilled and I promise you don’t want to miss what's next.
