The New Midlife Crisis is a real crowd pleaser! The setup and sound check was professional and timely. The sound system they provided was clean and capable. But the real hit is the Band themselves. Their sound is full and polished, they used a percussionist for our gig which really added to their sound. The set list got everyone dancing and I will definitely book this group at the next opportunity. This group kills!
On November 13, 2010 it was my esteemed pleasure to work with Midlife Crisis. This band was nothing less than superb in performance and professionalism. It became apparent within the first 10 minutes that Midlife Crisis was “here to put on one hell of a show” as one of my twenty-something year old servers proclaimed. I was surprised to see such an eclectic fan base. This group is amazing in many ways. They packed our establishment (a little over ~200 people) with fans of all ages finding commonality through Midlife Crisis’s soulful sound and energetic performance. I have been in and around this business a long time and many entertainment forms inflate projection to “get the gig”. This was not the case regarding Midlife Crisis. They are, without exaggeration, any establishments “dream” to work with. Here’s the proof in the puddin’: To begin with they were on-time or early for sound check and event, Mr. Naioti (band leader/contact) even came a few days early to assess our stage-lighting-and sound equipment for enhancements they brought to maximize their performance, they adapted quickly and efficiently to any unforeseen changes or challenges, they have a following of all ages that respect the establishment (large crowd w/little mess), they have an amazing sound that will draw people off the streets, their timing-tone-harmonies are impeccable, their set lists are tailored to the event, their lighting-performance-sound were invigorating to all the senses, they have an overall aesthetically pleasing set-up, they are the most professional band I have worked with (including the label signed and promoted bands I have hosted and booked at different events), they return e-mails and phone calls w/in the day and often the hour, they are clear in communication, they added to our promotion with self-promotion, they were great to the staff, and their energy is contagious. Midlife Crisis was well-rehearsed. Coupling that with their raw talent, ethical and hard-working nature, and professionalism made this band a great success at our establishment. I am honored and grateful for their hard work and the profitable evening they produced. I look forward to the privilege of working with Midlife Crisis again soon.
