Overview
The NomaD band is an eclectic mix of funk, jazz, 'New Orleans', rock, pop and classical bringing high energy and impeccable performances to events across the US.
NomaD has been performing at events, clubs, theaters, for over fifteen years including clients such as Dreamforce UK, IBM, GP Johnson and Garage Band (Software) to name a few.
We are lucky to have been apart of many great and memorable performances at special events, celebrations and weddings starting from all over the country.

We have used the Nomad Band two years in a row now. They are extremely easy to work with. As an event manager, I did not have to worry once about entertainment. Our guests enjoyed their music during reception. They were perfect! They helped make our event a success and I plan to use them again in the future.

Very joyful bunch. The company put on a great party and it was fun to help enhance the atmosphere they created for there guests with our sounds.
They played throughout our cocktail hour at our event of 250 people. The music was lively, fun, and created a great atmosphere for mingling. Guests were very pleased and so were we! Added bonus: everyone in the band is super nice and easy to work with. Highly recommended!

I have booked Damon for a variety of events over the years. His pool of performers are extremely professional and talented. He has entertained at the country club with both small and large groups. I work for a large real estate company that has hired Damon and his various music groups for many types of occasions. We've worked together on small customer events at various property locations in the Bay Area which require more ambient "background" jazz music to allow for conversations and we have also used them for our large annual holiday parties which start out that way but end with a big funk band to dance to after meal service. They play classics everyone knows and gets people out of their seats. Each time, Damon and his fellow musicians bring their smiles and can-do attitudes and are a real pleasure to work with. (Damon can even add lights if you contract them in advance!)

What to Expect
The Nomad Band has all of the styles covered necessary to make your event memorable.
Our setup allows us to adjust as the event goes along. We have the set up abilities for a creative backdrop, light, and sound look for all of it for example having a special band size for the entry way as guests arrive, the ceremony area, then over to the main dance floor.

The Nomad Band has been performing together for the last 15 years and consists of some of the best versatile performers from around the world with successes from touring and recording.
The NomaD Band has performed at events for Clients such as Salesforce, IBM, GP Johnson, FD Thomas, NADA, STEM, Pear Investments, Silver Oak Winery, Digital Realty, Americas Cup & Casper Mattresses in such venues as the Exploratorium, Legion of Honor, Chalk Hill Winery, Yoshis, Pier 48.
