The Original Selfie Photo Booth

Was excited to hire this husband/wife family business for our wedding anniversary. Chris, one of the owners, said that their older children also “manned” booths.
We had high hopes and were excited to capture our big celebration in pictures.
24 hours before our event and with 100 guests coming, Chris texted me to cancel.
I guess we didn’t even deserve a professional phone call. He sure called me to get our business, but no call to apologize for canceling with only a 24 hour notice.
I immediately became anxious and started worrying about what to do with our event being the next day.
Thank God for SpecialOcassionsPhotoBooth, who came through with a 24 hour notice.
Our event went on replete with great photos of family and friends.

I would never trust, Theoriginalselfiebooth, with any of my special events.

Response: Again, you stated that you had other people that could operate the booths when you were securing my business. In my opinion, it is your responsibility to find someone to operate the booth for your customers, if you are going to cancel last minute. You should have some sort of a back up plan, so as to not ruin your customers special day,. You don’t just cancel on someone at the last minute and do it via text. Not professional. Further, I wouldn’t want to hire a company that doesn’t put their customers first or have a safety plan when an agreement and a deposit has been made. Further, you offered to find somebody, yet you didn’t. The interesting thing is the first person I googled was available. So, I’m not convinced that you really did try to find someone. Further, you did offer to give the new company the templates, yet, she told me that she reached out to you, and you never sent them to her. It was much better this way, I wouldn’t want any negative emotions attached to my memorable day. So, what you have said in your response I find to be disingenuous.
To people reading the reviews: Be careful because this company might put your family second and cancel on you at the last minute.
In my opinion, this is not how you run a business.
And as far as my deposit goes, that’s the least I would expect -a prompt return deposit. It sounds like you believe you did me a favor.
