Founded by brothers Jonathan and Zachary McDonald, The Other Projects were merely a duo covering some of they're favorite songs. They soon added their cousin Kyle McDonald, who assumed the role of vocals as well as rhythm guitar. From this moment, The Other Projects were a real band. They focused on writing material and enhancing their musical talents. After a solid year of writing and performing, it was time to face the inevitable...the band needed a drummer. They had primarily written and performed primarily acoustic music, but were still looking for an extra kick to make them a real rock band. After several fall outs with potential drummers, they were able to land a past class mate of Kyle, Zach Bauer. Being the only 'non-McDonald' in the band, Zach had no issue with working with the rest of the band. He has helped the promising band achieve a greater viral market audience and create a more distinct sound. With all things looking up, keep an eye out for The Other Projects!
