The Peppermint Pony

The Peppermint Pony provides a world-class face painting experience. The flower cart setup I built takes up a mere 6'x6' of space, which is perfect for the average corporate event booth space, or outdoor party. I have alternate setups for indoor locations, evening club gigs, and strolling jobs.

I have pioneered a novel concept in children's party entertainment, suitable for events from birthdays to reunions to weddings. Fabulous face painting, henna, balloon twisting and glitter tattoos. I work primarily out of my custom made Flower Cart which I designed and built myself.

A life-long artist, you can find me painting en plein air in area competitions or tourist locales. My passion has always been ponies - I rode them as a child, progressed to an Arabian, graduated the United States Pony Club with a C-3 Rating. As an adult, I took up competitive carriage driving as well as 'pleasure driving'. Again, the bond between pony, person, and shared adrenaline and pride in work well done was key.

After having children and leaving an abusive marriage under the cover of darkness - I found solace in my small pair of ponies. In 2007, I began driving them at children's parties under the business name Bramble Hollow Pony Parties. I added face painting as well, and of course pony rides. My family was brought into the business, and my son is a successful balloon twister of note. We are always open to doing work for battered women and children, as our selected charity.

In 2011, I grew tired of the competition to get to the phone first to get the job...and decided that a 'value added' service was the route to take. Unfortunately, this was not a financial success - but wow the memories made with unicorns, mini horses, music, costumes and more!!! Thousands of children were given experiences they will never forget.

Now I have partnered with a pony provider and will strive to give all the quality of pony and unicorn standards I have maintained in the past as The Peppermint Pony. I am devoting my extra energy to my face painting business, which is a huge draw at corporate events and expos. I love corporate work, and striving to represent my sponsor well. I cross-market with all social media. I am also pursuing more training in plein air painting, and working on some sculpture commissions as well. I indulge myself in fiber arts - needle felting, and one of a kind garments made from recycled wool sweaters.

Setup for face painting has no requirement besides a modicum of space, and decent lighting. Just let me know your situation, and I will adjust my setup to your event specifications.
