The Philcos is one of the most established Live music groups in Toronto. For over 25 years the various members have played major corporate events, Hotels, and Clubs across Canada and the USA. Having toured with and shared the stage with performers as diverse in style as Tom Jones, The Monkeys, Denny Laine of Paul McCartney, Andre Philippe Gagnon, Legends of Rock & Roll, and many others, The Philcos is a band that specializes in bringing a variety of styles to entertain their audience.

My boss left me in charge to book the DJ/Band for the retirement party of our companies co-founder. The Guest list numbered 230 people..including employees / customers and other associates. We had the venue and the catering all figured out but were struggling to find the right entertainment for dancing. I had booked a comedian to open the nights festivities and after some short speeches and toasts it was off to the dance floor.
I was leaning toward a live band as its just more special with live music! But we wanted a high energy band that played songs from different decades as the guests were aged 19-90 yrs. All I can say is they came as advertised ! From the first song the dance floor was Packed and it NEVER stopped. Carmen the bass player developed a real connection with the guests with his " between song" jokes and stories. The band was super professional to deal with and everyone came up to me with compliments on their playing, singing and song selection. Just a pleasure to work with and really ramped up the energy at the party. Thank You Philcos.
