The Playback is a Detroit-area acoustic duo that crafts covers of pop songs from nearly all musical genres—mostly up-tempo, always innovative and catchy. Our music spans a wide variety of genres (pop/rock; R&B; country; light jazz), prioritizing a modern feel while crafting unique acoustic covers of well-known songs from Motown to modern. Robert Artinian’s percussive and creative guitar style, is paired with vocals by Elektra Petrucci to create an intimate musical experience of many of your favorite songs. We cater to all audiences and occasions, and pride ourselves on creating a set list that perfectly fits your event.
