OUR PROCESS

We are trained typists.
We listen to your guests.
We make a typewritten message called a quippie.
This quippie is customized to their input.
Afterwards we type the "from" address to an envelope: yourevent/business.
And then we then type the "to" name & address of the guest.
We then stamp the envelope.
We give these letters to you after the event.
This was such a fun and unique experience. Attendees are still talking about it. The messages that get written are so powerful and will be kept for years to come.

Our set up is simple, we need a place to sit and a seat to sit on.
Your guests will naturally come to us out of curiosity.

We are asked all the time when our project started and why we do what we do. Here are the answers to when and why.
Founded out of a desire to get heartfelt words out into the world, The Poem Pros has become a grand experiment to directly impact poetry and love onto paper and spread it round the world.
In May of 2017 at Alixander Court sat at The Urban Flea Market with his Brother Echelon 77 Tabulator and typed his first quippy for the market of SLC, Utah. It was then that The Poem Pros was born! Not long after the first words were typed, Alixander was asked to mail them. Stoked by the idea, he invited others to make a donation to pay it forward and get their typewritten words delivered.
A year went by, hundreds of quippies were mailed, and The Poem Pros were asked to attend events of all kinds. For a complete list of venues, check out our Events Page. Pretty soon people were begging us to get a social media presence going so that our fans could spread their heartfelt words online and to give us credit. And, that’s basically how you found us, right?
