The Purdy Twins

From the moment the Purdy Twins walked on stage, I knew I was in for something different. Don't be fooled by their seemingly shy, naive demeanor initially, as what followed was nothing short of comedy genius. Their chemistry as a duo is unlike anything I'd ever seen, riffing off each other in unpredictably hilarious ways, with doses of dead-pan, surreal stream of consciousness-laden southern charm. Loved the audience involvement element as well. Check em out!

I saw The Purdy Twins perform at the annual “Finest City’s Inpride Festival” and was hilariously entertained by their show! Taking suggestions from the audience they lead us on a journey that was hard to believe was not scripted. For a moment I was actually convinced that they were utterly naive southern twins lost in the big city cacophony. I honestly think some audience members never realized they were acting as they introduced themselves in character before the show. Their performance was great - their entrance spectacular - and the fact that they handed out candy after the show was, well, ridiculously funny (and also too tempting for my belly).

I would highly recommend the Purdy Twins! I’ve seem them perform may times since and they are an incredibly versatile duo.
