Octavius nearly committed suicide, in 2007, due to the depression of living an unfulfilled life as a minister. But instead of taking his life, he decided to dedicate it to pursuing what he’s truly passionate about.
That pursuit has lead him to using his voice as a voice-actor, radio personality, event emcee and motivational speaker, with a client list which includes: McGowan Medical Centers, TIAA Bank, ESPN, Bacardi, GMC, The Ritz Theatre and Museum, CSX Corporation, Johnson and Johnson, and more!
He now motivates and encourages others to define their genius in life, by pursuing their passion.

Though a native to Gary, Indiana, Octavius has called Jacksonville home for more than 30 years. A graduate of Sandalwood Senior High School (1997) and an alumnus of Edward Waters College where he received a Bachelors of Arts degree, in Communications (2004).
His Communications career has spanned nearly two decades; which includes: 17 years in radio; 15 years as an event emcee; 12 years as a professional voice-actor; and 10 years as a public speaker.
Credited with voicing over 1,000 radio and television commercials for clients around the world; Octavius’ voice is heard locally on radio and seen on television as the spokesman for McGowan Medical Centers; and lent his voice to the project introducing TIAA Bank, at the Jacksonville Jaguars ‘State of the Franchise’ event this spring.
Despite all of his success behind the microphone; Octavius’ greatest accomplishment, in life, has been the family he’s made with his wife Charise and their five children.
