The Recess Band is a 5 piece variety dance band. We will give you 3 to 4 hours of high energy dance music and we are never in a hurry to go home. We play everything from Merle Haggard to White Stripes. Once we get the crowd on the dance floor our whole goal is to keep them there. We only play songs that were popular in their era. Most audiences will know 90% of the songs we play and we love to get them involved in the show. Our lead singer spends a lot of time in the audience with his wireless mic getting the crowd to sing along with the band and use our tambourine and cowbell. They love it ! This band will have fun, and you will: "DANCE YOUR ASS OFF" !!

We will be prompt and will party as long as you do. We are accommodating performers and will try our very best to step up to your needs.
We have our own lighting and professional sound system capable of handling a 500 person hall but it also works very well in small rooms.
