We play a variety of music from classic oldies to contemporary hits for all ages and occasions as well as some Latin favorites. We're professional, friendly, entertaining and fun. No one sits still when we play. You can't help but tap along or get up to dance. We make your event a more memorable experience that people will be talking about for years to come. What to Expect
A typical gig starts with the band arriving about an 1.5 hr early to set up. We will start with a selection of easy listening upbeat songs while people mingle or a dinner set as appropriate. As the evening progresses so does the energy with more dance oriented songs and an occasional ballad to give people a chance to rest or to get close. As the evening builds The Rocktops are surprising everyone with their selection of songs. From line dancing to cumbia the floor is packed ! The nite comes to a climatic end with a a song specifically chosen to close the evening. Everyone is on their feet talking and laughing congratulating the band on their performance . The Rocktops tear down, pack up and leave behind memories that will last forever.

The Rocktops are an LA based band formed over 17 years ago by guitarist singer Rob Silkensen.
The Rocktops perform an infectious mix of oldies /classic /contemporary pop/rock that is fun upbeat and will kickstart any event. The Rocktops also include Latin and other international favorites into their selection. They have performed countless special events all over So Cal from concerts in the parks to weddings, including a 3 year residency at the My Place Santa Monica Mall.
