The Royal Barnes Singers have been singing for a number of years, beginning at early age of 3 and 4 years
old in the mid 80's. The Royal Barnes Singers first appeared was at the church annual homecoming. During that time the late Latoya and Trishaunda sung there first duet and it inspire many at this time they were only 3 and 4 years old. As the years went by Eutabatha and Natalie was added to the group. At the age of 3 Eutabatha led her first song in the group. Song was called Jesus getting us ready for that great day. They all started singing Quartet under the leadership of Sis. Cynthia Barnes. They have attended many church events in the 80's and 90' and (link hidden)ch as They were place in the Livingston Enterprise News Paper for outstanding talent. At this time the youth was only Natalie 4, Eutabatha 6, Trishaunda 9 and the late Latoya 10 years old. In a quartet singing contest in Oakhurst, Texas they won first place trophy. In a church drill team compeptition in Houston Texas they won second (link hidden) a church talent contest in 1998 in Bryan Texas won third place trophy. They have also had the opportunity to audition for Star (link hidden)ey also do praise (link hidden)e Royal Barnes Singers attended The International Recording Excutives Retreat in Las Vegas , Nevada May 8 thur 11 which was host by Dr. Bobby Jones. The meeting was held at The Rio Grand Convention Center Hotel. Which we were to appear on BET in the year of 1999. The Royal Barnes Singers have performed in Florida, Ohio and many other place. The Royal Barnes Singers have performed from the east coast to the west coast including Los Angles, California Santa Anna, San Diego, Detroit Michigan, Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi etc. In 2005 The Royal Barnes Singers perform at the Texas Gospel Announcer Guild in Houston, Texas. They did a great job in singing. And was invited By the late Roy Wooten of Malaco Records to attend the Exclesisa Enterprise Annual Showcase in Jackson, (link hidden) a very young age the first group we perform to open up for was The Mighty Cloud of Joy in Huntsville, Texas. The Royal Barnes Singers also has had the pleasure to perform with The Canton Spiritual, The Willliams Brothers, The Christianaires, Keith Wonder Boy Johnson, Willie Nelson Johnson and The Gospel Keynotes, The Texas Boys, Spencer Tayor and and The Highway QC's, Lee Williams and The Spiritual QC's , Evenly Turntinee Agee, Darrell McFadden and the Disciple,Endurance,Pastor Tim Roger and the Fellas and many more. We have did a lot of great thing in the Lord down through the (link hidden)nthia and Trishaunda have had the opportunity to audition for Sunday Best at The Potter House In Dallas Texas (link hidden)shop T.D Jakes. Also part of us audition for American Idol in Houston, Texas. The Royal Barnes Singers have perform in Houston, Texas at Meet and Greet Showcase. We have also performed at the Quartet Division of America in Birmingham , AL hosted by Rev. George Stewart. We are bless with many talents and we are so greatful to God. The ministry started about 1986 and 1987. Sis. Cynthia Barnes saw the love of music inside the younger gerneration. So she decided to perform a quartet group. As of today we are call The Royal Barnes Singers.We are all children of God, a chosen generation a Royal priesthood. We are anointed by (link hidden)aise is what we do. praise is who I am. We will prasie him while we can.We will praise him at all time. And by the grace of God. We are looking forward to go to the mountain top.
