Overview
A five piece cover band based out of Colorado Springs, we play all kinds of genres; Pop, Rock, Alternative and Country. We bring a lot of fun and energy to our shows, great dance songs, sing along songs all done with true professionalism. We've played all over town and willing to expand on the outskirts of Colorado Springs- Castle Rock, Parker, South of Denver and Pueblo. We have a very dedicated and loyal fan base and it continues to grow.

The band was fantastic, had a great playlist, got our guests dancing and having fun. They were courteous and respectful (which was very important since they played at our house). Jeff was great at communicating before and during the party. Would hire again and recommend to friends.

What to Expect
We're a high energy professional band that brings a lot of fun to our shows, engaging with the audience, great dance songs, sing along songs and a few fun surprises during our show. We play such a wide variety of music that everybody can enjoy our shows - that's how it should be! Our catalog of songs is extensive and it ranges from the 1970's and even as new as 2024. That's what makes this band "Unique" all eras and all genres - come check us out, were a lot of fun.
About
The "Runners Band" includes five members and have been together for the last five years. Band members Jonathan Newey(Vocalist and Guitar) and Steven Gregg(Lead Vocalist) have 25 yrs of experience combined. Dominic Albo(Bass Player), John Barrett(Drummer) and Jeff Barrett(Keyboards,Guitar) bring over 17yrs combined. These three are also active runners and have participated in marathons like NYC Marathon and The Flying Pig, this is how the band name "The Runners" was created.
All of us enjoy a variety of music and that's what makes are band unique. We play all genres of music which caters to all types of audiences. We're a hardworking professional band who's has a lot fun. We always engage with the crowd; great dance songs, sing a long songs and crowd pleasing songs. Come check us out and have some fun!

We're a five piece band that has top of the line equipment only using nothing but the best. Marshall Amps, Gibson Guitars, Epiphone Guitars, Pearl Drums, Sennheiser Microphones, Yamaha Keyboards. We have an in ear monitor system(top of the line) and a professional sound guy, Eric Tu Toit (Big Mountain Sound) the best in the business. We have everything we need to put on a fabulous show.
