The Samba Novo Band Brasilian Music and Dance

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce had the Samba Novo Band Brazilian Music and Dance at the PA Latino Convention. Everyone kept mentioning how well they danced and dressed and the energy they carried with them all throughout the show! Will look forward to booking again when an event needs entertainment.

All Dancers and drummers were very kind ,They put up a great show all friends and family will really enjoy it!!❤️❤️highly recommend it.!!

I really want to thank Ron and his crew. We planned our wedding about two years and our original wedding day was supposed to be 2020, due to the world circumstances “COVID” we had to postpone it. We tried several time last year but we were not successful so we decided to move it a year late and Ron, was so kind and supportive every time we called him with a new date. He made it very easy and he worked with us. Throughout the year he kept in touch to how we were doing never asked for any additional money and he showed us that he was there for us any day any time and that to me is perfect customer service. Finally the day comes and it was the best surprise for my guests every one got up and enjoyed every second of it. The dancer were amazing so professional, outfits was beautiful and the ladies were absolutely gorgeous. The matching mask was perfect. The drummer were also amazing we were so happy to have them part of our wedding. And we will definitely recommend them for any party we will be booking them for any big future event. They were FANTASTIC Ron and crew THANK YOU so much we loved it and had so much fun.

I absolutely DO NOT have any complaints whatsoever!!! The Samba Novo staff, dancers and drummers were extremely accommodating, professional and courteous from start to finish!!! My birthday event was a Fantabulous BLAST! I’m ENTIRELY SATISFIED!!! The drummers and dancers were SUPERB!!! They delivered excitement with a positive demeanor and extraordinary flair!!! Everyone was in awe and had a great time!!! My young adult daughter who is a dancer herself connected with the ladies and has photographic memories that will last a lifetime!!! I contacted Ron because I wanted to surprise my husband for his 48th birthday. He sent me Carla and Estelle and they put together a fantastic show for everyone to enjoy. We hired two samba dancers for my parent's 50th anniversary, the quote process with Ron was easy and very professional. The dancers, Sammy and Estelle, were extremely nice and interacted with everyone very respectfully. The party was a blast!

I got them for my husbands surprise 40th birthday. Everyone had a great time!! The dancers were fantastic!! They got the crowd going. Ron was so understanding we has to postpone the event and he was great to work with. I couldn’t wait to finally get the party started just to see the guest being surprised for the samba dancers. My wife and I hired Ron and his team to perform at our NYE wedding. We surprised our guests with an hora loca shortly after midnight when four drummers and two dancers came out. They brought amazing energy and our guests loved it. We're so glad we hired them and would definitely recommend doing the same.

This past Saturday,!Ron and his team performed at my boyfriend's 40th birthday. They were by far the most professional and dedicated group of entertainers I've had the pleasure of hiring. They don't just perform, they get involved in the crowd and make sure everyone has a great time. Our timeline was delayed and they were extremely patient and understanding. They were the hit of the birthday eventbandbare worth every dollar. You will not be disappointed.

The drummers were great and the dancers were too. I just wish there were more performing time and more of a performance routine. The performance its self only lasted about 10 minutes and the other 20 minutes was the dancers interacting with guest. Not the worst but not the best.

People who didn't want to get out of their chairs were on the dance floor dancing and interacting with the dancers and band. Worth it!

We invited Samba Nova to perform at our annual school wide Multicultural Day. Their performance was amazing. The kids were up and dancing and having a blast. Thank you to Samba Nova to working with us this year. We are looking forward to continued partnership with our multicultural events.

The performers provided by Samba Novo for my father and brother's surprise birthday party were excellent. The two Samba dancers were engaging with all of the guests and ensured that my brother and father were given special attention. The moca jumbie was a great hype man and got the guests to participate. Amazing dancers! The event was for the Caribbean Student Alliance in which we requested masquerade dancers. They were amazing and vibrant and the campus loved the performance.

The Samba Novo crew did a wonderful job at our corporate event. The communication prior to the event was always prompt and the dancers did a fantastic job. Overall, I would give this performance a huge thumbs up. The only thing that was a bit tricky was payment so be sure to discuss how payment is taken up front. (check is preferred) which can be hard for large organizations needing a quick turnaround time. Other than that, the performance was a total hit and I would highly recommend for corporate or private parties. A great way to get the crowd excited, on their feet and ready for a great night!

I contacted several samba groups and I dealt with many other groups; this was by far the most professional and honest group I dealt with. Ron, the manager, was a pleasure to deal with; he answered every question and was very responsive to my several inquiries. The day of the show everybody showed on time, the girls were so sweet and beautiful, their costumes beautiful as well, and the band was just awesome, everything professional. Everybody at the party loved the show and more than a week later they are still talking about it. I highly recommend Samba Novo for any event, and that is coming from a very demanding client!

I booked Samba Novo for my daughter’s sweet-16 party. What a fantastic group!!! The drummers and dancers created an ambiance for the party's theme which was Masquerade Carnival. Ron DeFrancesco gave my daughter a feathered headpiece and coordinated her entrance with the dancing ladies and drummers so that she could blend in with the group. Even though guests were delighted to see the troupe, the group made my daughter the main focus of attention as she danced with them. Guests cheered with delight! I appreciated that the band and ladies then interacted with the guests, not only dancing with them but also taking the time to pose for photos.

The Samba Novo team helped us celebrate our annual Mardi Gras client appreciation event by bringing the New Orleans atmosphere to New York City! Samba Novo group did exactly what they promised to do...They were true professionals. Punctual and dressed appropriately for the event. We requested a little more cover up since we had a priest coming and some older folks and their outfits was awesome. The girls danced non stop and had everyone on the dance floor. They were truly fun and kind with all guests of every age.......even the 80 + aged guests. The show was a nice clean act (as requested) samba style but not erotic which is what we wanted. They made sure to pose with the birthday girl and allowed for some photo opportunity.... would recommend them again and again.

If you want exciting entertainment that will make your guests get on the dance floor, Samba Novo is for you! They get everyone on their feet! The drummers came in, followed by the dancers then the stilt walkers. The costumes were great quality, bursting with feathers and colors. I found Samba Novo on this site, and found them to be the most professional looking while also the most affordable (something I have to worry about working for a public institution), which encouraged me to book them for the opening event for our Homecoming.

They were helpful and understanding throughout the contract process, albeit my confusing and sometimes frustrating purchasing process. They showed up that day early and ready to go! I appreciated working with a laid back and professional group, as I see myself the same way. They were accommodating to the surroundings and when it was time to perform, they were ON. I hosted a 70th Birthday party for my father in March 2015. The dancers were on time (they actually arrived early) very nice and did an excellent job. Their performance was very sexy, yet tasteful. They did a great job interacting with the guests and had everyone dancing. They also took photos with everyone and we're all smiles throught. I would very much recommend and hire them again. Thanks!

My first experience with Sambo Novo was phenomenal. They were extremely professional, timely, organized and delivered a wonderful performance. I highly recommend them and do hope to have them for future festivals in the City of Newark.

I recently hired "Samba Novo" band as entertainment for "la hora loca" at my wedding on September 28th. I had 4 drummers, two dancers and two stilts. They were incredible and so talented. We hired Samba Novo as the surprise act for our New Year's Eve upstate wedding. To say they were a hit is an understatement. Our guests were already impressed with the wedding and were expecting just a dance party to ring in the new year. We did the countdown and as we were toasting with our champagne, Samba Novo came in and wowed the crowd with percussion and carnaval color and a beat that transported us immediately from the cold upstate mountains to tropical Rio. My fiance and I hired Samba Novo to do the percussion for our engagement party. Since we are having a destination wedding, this party had to be big - and it was just that ! We booked Samba Novo for our company Holiday Party. We are a mid-size construction firm and wanted to reserve something special for our employees to have fun and enjoy watching. Samba Novo turned out to be perfect for that occasion. The colors, the music and beautiful dancers really put everyone in a happy holiday mood. We had a great time watching the show and then were even invited by the performers to the dance floor to dance with them. Samba Novo's dancers performed at our recent Company Holiday Party and they were amazing. The crowd was amazed at their performance and they loved every moment of it. We hired Samba Novo to perform for several hundred customer's at a large-scale grand opening event, and we couldn't be more pleased with this group of musicians! From the beginning, Ron DeFrancesco was responsive, professional, and communicative -- which is something that, in our experience, is hard to come by these days when booking musical talent. Ron was able to accomodate our every request, and responded to every email in a timely manner. On the day of the event, the musicians showed up an hour early and had all of their own equipment, including extension cords, etc. - just as we had requested. The customers absolutely loved the music, and our store's crew was uplifted and delighted as well. As our new store's general manager noted, "These musicians made the day what it was!" We will definitely look to book Samba Novo for future East Coast openings.
