The Scenic Route

The band's set list is a carefully curated group of big hits from the last 40 years. We cover artists from the 70's and 80's (Journey, Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benatar and The Eagles), up to modern artists (Adele, Bruno Mars, Black Keys).

The Scenic Route is a five-piece, female fronted rock band from Canton, Ohio. The band was founded in 2011 by lead vocalist, Rachel Crozier. For the past 11 years, the band has worked hard to build a name in the vibrant NE Ohio music scene.

The Scenic Route plays live extensively (over 1000 shows in the last 11 years). They are currently one of the most popular show bands in NE Ohio, but they also play as far east as Pittsburgh and the Baltimore/DC area, and as far west as Detroit and Indianapolis. Their live show is an awesome mix of high energy and excellent musicianship.

In addition to their original music, The Scenic Route also functions as a “cover” band. Their cover shows are a great mix of high energy, family friendly hits from the 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's. The band also plays as an acoustic duo or trio at smaller venues.

The band is also invested in the community, lending their talents to causes such as gender equality and empowerment, arts education, and animal rights.

Recent highlights for The Scenic Route

Winner of the "Best Local Band" category in About Magazine's 2021 Best of Stark County Issue. We'd been in the top 10 for about six years, but last year we finally got #1.
Top Ten in The Akron/Canton Hot List for 7 straight years in The Best Local Band category.
Entertainment at The North Canton Jaycee's Community Fireworks event for the last 2 years (2021 and 2022). Crowd of 4,000+ both years.
Entertainment for The Party in the Plaza Event at Centennial Plaza for the last 2 years (2021 and 2022). Crowd of 2,000+ both years.
Performed at Cedar Point for 1 week in 2021 for their "Bands in Residence" program.
Several live performances on Fox 8 Cleveland's "Morning Jukebox" series.
Performed at the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Thirsty Thursday event, and we have an upcoming (Fall 2022) show at the HOF's "Puppy Bowl" fundraiser for The Stark County Humane Society.
Regular performances at the premier venues in Canton including: Jerzee's Belden, Gervasi Vineyards and The Palace Theater.
Recent performances at The Akron Civic Theater, The Maltz Center for Performing Arts (Cleveland) and at The Keybank State Theater at Playhouse Square for their "Jump Back Ball" fundraising event.
