The Sexton Connection is a conglomerate of professional Memphis, Tn-based musicians, specializing in live musical entertainment. The focal point, of the Sexton Connection, is it’s 8 piece party band, but can abbreviated to fit the needs of your event. Everything from big band, to country, to top 40 pop & rnb, or straight-ahead jazz, can be provided by the Sexton Connection.
The Sexton Group did an outstanding job of leading our Mardi Gras parade through the streets of downtown Jonesboro, AR. They played the entire parade route and then carried that enthusiasm over to our party as they played for an additional hour at our event hall before the dj took over for the rest of the evenings festivities. Would absolutely hire them again for our next event
Response from The Sexton Connection:
Thank you so much, for trusting us with this event. We had a blast, & we’re here, if you ever need us again.
Best Wishes!

When contracting the Sexton Connection, expect the 'crème de la crème' of professional wedding/corporate bands.
We have top notch gear, know how to read the crowd, & are extremely flexible, because, with our experience there are sure to be last minute changes.
When it comes to weddings, in particular, we send a questionnaire out to each client, to make sure ALL bases are covered, well in advance of the big day. But, again, we almost ALWAYS expect minor adjustments, & we're experienced enough to support those change(s), in a professional & discrete manner.
As far as the presentation, we know enough material to read the crowd, & we all also engage the crowd as much as possible. We understand the importance of making our audience feel like they're a part of the show. We'll do line dance tunes, initiate dance-offs, & even allow someone to sit in with the band & sing a little, if they'd like! Expect something for everybody from Motown, to Journey, to Darius Rucker, to Cher, to Bruno Mars....the party won't stop.
Another thing to expect, from The Sexton Connection, is complete control of our overall volume. A lot of times acoustics become an issue, in certain venues, because of how loud the band is, as it relates to the drums & floor monitors. The Sexton Connection uses top of the line in-ear monitors & electronic drums. So, our stage volume is DRASTICALLY lower than most bands. We could literally play in an apartment complex, & disturb no tenants.
