Martin Lacasse, is an accomplished pianist, born in Chateauguay,near Montreal, Quebec. He presently resides in the Windsor- Essex region of Ontario.
Lacasse was raised in a very creative household, with both parents being involved in the teaching profession. Martin's first exposure to musical inspiration was his father's harmonica, which resonated freely in the home, happily melting away his father's stress, and spurring his son's intrigue for the power of music to heal and soothe. His mother Rita, was gifted for the dramatic flair, easily lighting up a room of youngsters with her puppet shows set to music!
At the age of nine,Martin received four consecutive years of personalized conservatory training.
On into his teen and adult years,Martin continued his musical craft by teaching himself to play the classicat guitar. For the past 16 years, however, Lacasse has since reconnected with the instrument of his youth, only to realize its limitless potential for creativity and expression!
