I booked the Sugarbees for our formal at a venue in downtown Charleston. They were amazing. Our age range was 18-22 and everyone was enjoying it. They were also active with the crowd which made it more entertaining. They were also cheaper then almost every other band I talked too and honestly were probably better. Book Them!

We had great food, good friends but the Sugarbees were the best part of the event.
I booked the Sugarbees for a conference in Hilton Head. The band leader got back to me promptly even though I booked only 2.5 weeks ahead of time. He was great at communicating, and arrived early to set up. The conference attendees enjoyed the music enough that apparently the band was able to book two more gigs in different cities. I would book them again.

I am an event planner in South Carolina and the Sugar Bees provided the entertainment for a wedding I planned and coordinated in September 2013. The event was on Edisto Island, SC, so the band members all had to commit to travel to be at the event. What an amazing group of people! The SugarBees were so easy and accommodating to work with and helped make planning for the event smooth. They met all of mine, and my clients', needs and special requests. The band arrived early for set-up due to the layout of the wedding ceremony and reception. All band members were early and prepared to entertain the guests.
They played to crowd from coctas to dinner to dancing under the stars. All the guests raved about how much fun they had, how wonderf the music was and what a great band The Sugar Bees were! Overall, The Sugar Bees made my event a success. I was thrilled with every aspect of the band, and so were my clients! The experience was perfect and I would recommend them to anyone looking for great entertainment!

DJ
The band covers a wide range of music and also provides a DJ for your event! Together you get a live music experience combined with all favorite dance tracks from our DJ, an all inclusive package without sacrificing performance or music choices.
PA
The SugarBees uses brand new, state of the art sound system. They are fully self-contained with a new PA that can accomodate 1000 people or less. For crowds exceeding 1000 people, we use Massy Sound Productions and Devner Vairs Productions.
LIGHTING
LED lighting sets the mood of the event and brings the dance floor and stage to life.
AUDIO ENGINEER
Fred Shaw, manager and drummer, oversees all aspects of The SugarBees sound along with with his son Brad Shaw. Fred has won many awards for his engineering and production skills. He owns and operates Bradleyhouse Music and has been recording national and international artists for over 20 years. The experienced, audio engineer takes pride in the sound of The SugarBees.
