The Swedish Meatball! Sqweezing and pleasing the sweet sounds of the accordion through the air to make a success of YOUR affair! Ellen Lindstrom, also known as "The Swedish Meatball" is of Scandinavian background adding lovely European tunes to her repertoire of eclectic Scandinavian/American accordion folk music. And, it doesn't stop there...Italian, Latin, and German music too! Toe-tapping, foot-stomping, heart-touching music! Performance locations include OKTOBERFEST celebrations, festivals, restaurants/yacht club, retail stores (IKEA), lodge events, home parties and even front porches! This "Swedish Meatball" goes the extra SMILE!

Wonderful service! Everyone enjoyed the sounds of a Bavarian summer festival. Many toe tapping guests enjoyed the music and it brought back many memories for those who were present at the Bavarian summer festival wedding that took place at the same location 50 years ago. Great job!

Book the Meatballs now! They were excellent and brought some great energy to our Oktoberfest party at Kinsmen Brewing Company in Milldale, CT.
Very professional, great personalities, and amazing musicians. Not only did they play the traditional classics, but then threw in some fun songs that got our guests up and moving!
Will book again next year!!!

My 98 year old Polish grandmother passed away which even at her age, we were all surprised and heartbroken. On a whim, I thought of having live polka music for our group of 35 to enjoy as a celebration of life. The Swedish Meatballs did a great job reading the room and bringing so much fun to what has been a very difficult loss for the family. Started with 2 hours and extended an hour; chicken polkas on repeat as well as fun games that the whole group really enjoyed. I highly recommend!

She was incredibly accommodating with various changes of plan for how the evening would flow and she was a total delight the whole time. US Army's Oktoberfest Golf Outing was a fantastic PAR-TEE and The Swedish Meatballs were honored to be on their musical menu!
The Swedish Meatballs were the musical addition for our Italian themed birthday celebration. Our guests ranged in age from 7 to 80, with a heavy representation from 20 somethings, and they had the crowd entertained. They took a great party and elevated it to the next level. We would definitely have them perform at any future event, and you should too! Thank you Ellen and Larry for making my father’s birthday one for the history book!

What to Expect
Accordion/Polka/Oktoberfest/European/Italian/Irish/American lovely music! We are a unique set of musicians, and I am the main Swedish Meatball (Accordionist). We aim to please and go the extra SMILE!
We really want to make YOUR event successful! If the event is the right setting, I take the next step by running games to get the crowd up laughing and having lots of fun! This provides for great memorable photos! Sound system? Yes, we come equipped with a professional system and will also play CDs in between to give even more nonstop music and dancing! There is always someone always asks for the Chicken Dance, The Electric Slide, etc.

Accordion & Music - that's what Ellen loves and she continues carrying on the old traditions through musical appearances in the New York Tri-State / New England / Pennsylvania area! Ellen comes from a strong European/Scandinavian background. Ellen - The Swedish Meatball - can be seen at just about every IKEA special event! You'll see her strolling the grounds of festival events with her little squeezebox bringing smiles to everyone she encounters. Ellen & her band plays at various parties...on stage, restaurants, halls, festivals, Oktoberfests, backyards...and even on a front porch!
"The Swedish Meatball" at your service! You might be wondering how did I get that name? Well, I always play at the IKEA stores; and, it was there that I was tagged with name, The Swedish Meatballs...and it stuck! ;)
